I am extremely disappointed with the way my funeral policy claim has been handled. Despite having a valid policy and submitting all required documents, I have yet to receive payment. This delay has placed an unnecessary emotional and financial burden on me and my family during an already difficult time. What has made this experience even more frustrating is the unprofessional conduct of the manager assigned to my case, Ayanda Mahlangu. She is often unavailable, frequently on leave, and does not respond to emails or call back after messages have been left for her. I’ve had to constantly follow up just to get basic updates, with no urgency or empathy shown. The lack of communication, compassion, and accountability is completely unacceptable for a service that is supposed to offer peace of mind during times of loss. I expected better and more respectful treatment. I strongly urge the company to take this matter seriously, finalize the payment urgently, and review the service conduct of their staff — especially in such sensitive matters.

I sent a watsup asking for the claims form from Bokamoso, and they sent me the claims form only.. I then proceeded to claim because the claim form has an email on it where you can forward all documents. It's 3 of us in the family claiming for the same deceased... We all sent our claims to RMA as stipulated in the claims form. Only one person from the 3 claimants has received their payment... When i called them to enquired about the other 2 policies not paid, Mbali from claims office says I was supposed to claim with them not with the underwriter, so she can't assist me in that regards because I decided to claim straight with RMA. When I follow up with RMA they telling me that we have used the same policy number to claim which is impossible because each person has their own bokamoso policy number. Bokamoso is no longer answering our calls and we are not getting any assistance from the underwriter either... I'm very disappointed with bokamoso and I regret recruiting people in the family to join after listening to JoziFm advert about bokamoso. Bokamoso should not send us claims documents without attaching their email address and tell us to claim directly to them

we have a policy with Bokamoso and yesterday we sent through a claim but later got called and was told that the decease. was not captured on their side but we have the decease on the book, and we have been paying our monthly premium we called them several times yesterday sent them emails but no 1 came back to us and we have a Funeral this Saturday. we need clarity and a way forward because we have to bury my uncle... The Administrator who helped us when we joined at Green village offices is Thembisile.

This company/ burial scheme does not even deserve a single star rating due to their incompetent administration. I took up a policy with them and have been making my monthly contributions religiously and only last week it's been brought to my attention that there was a mishap/ negligence on their part that my cover only started in January of 2023. Their Admin lady / consultant (Lindiwe) is forcing me to understand that this was an error and need to accept that I will be on waiting period before my cover is effective. Why am I being crucified for their mistakes and God forbid anything happens to my loved ones this means I won't be cover. Can Lindiwe and her Team fix their mess and get my policy in order I am not going to be put on waiting period , PERIOD!!!!! Kindly effect my policy as per our contractual agreement!!

I opened a funeral policy with Bokamoso in August 2020.The package that I took pays out R10000, the follow month I decided to change or upgrade my package to a R15000 and I started pay for it in september which was R230. One of my family member died in september 2021 and I went to Bokamoso office in dube to claim as I provided them all the documentation they requested. I got paid the R10000 instead of R15000 and I called RMA their underwriter to check with them why I was paid insufficient funds an they said they received the paper work that must pay out the client an amount of R10.000 from Bokamoso so I should ask them why they did that.i went to Bokamoso office and laid my queries and they accepted their mistake and promised to reimburse me the balance that is left which 5000,but I was not given a feed back instead I am the one who keeps on reminding them. I tried to speak to the manager Paul Mavhusha but instead he doesn't want to take full responsibility of the errors that was made by his employees and he gives us bad attitude nd becomes dodgey, as he always hides himself. I have tried to call their contact that I was given by Bokamoso employees but still there is no answer and I couldn't get any help from them but when you come to join or pay they act as if they are professional in their work or job. I filled in and submitted the application in September 2021 and started making payments, 5 months later I get a call that my application was not captured and they will refund all the payments. Then decide whether I still want to open the policy or not. And that there is nothing that can be done I just have to start again with the 6 months waiting period. Bokamoso has a bad ass service

I put my claim on a Thursday 30th December 2021. Whatever documents dey wanted I submitted. I explained dat it was my mum who passed on n will be buried on the 6th January. Monday de 3rd I called them only to be told stories which were not my problem. Tuesday I called them again new hiccup which I didn't create. Every day I must call n ask for feedback. It's Wednesday today funeral is 2moro nothing has happened with my claim instead I've been told that they only received my claim 2day. Never been so hurt humiliated angry like m fuming.

Bokamoso Funeral policy is the worst xem. Very unreasonable, unreliable, unprofessional. My dad submitted a claim on the 21.12.2021 & submitted relevant documents, to this date 29.12.2021. Nothing, they just told my dad that most staff is on holiday & they can't get hold of them. They didn't seem to care much that they are dealing with a pensioner, whom they've sending from pillar to post without answers. It's the inconvenience caused, for me
