I listened to Paul advertising Bokamoso and I joined them I've been paying very well. I claimed once and everything went well, seeing that it's working I then recruited family members to also join the bokamoso burial scheme and they've been paying well since Paul said on the advert on jozi FM we can cover one person as long as we don't exceed r100k. Now we are 3 members of the family who claimed for 1 deceased on the 26th of November 2024 and only one person is paid... The two of us are told that we were supposed to claim directly with the broker which we were not given the email address upon asking for claim documents. However all of us used the same email address to claim but only one was paid and the underwriter says the broker used one policy number to claim for all of us so now they can't pay... The underwriter says the only way to fix this is for the broker (bokamoso) to assist us fix the policy numbers... When I call Mbali from claims department bokamoso, she doesn't want to assist me in such a way that she is no longer answering my calls. They say she's on lunch or she's busy with walk in customers. I don't know who to ask for help because they don't even want to give me their escalation process as they protect each other. I'm very unhappy because now family thinks that we are lying to them about the claims money.
I sent a watsup asking for the claims form from Bokamoso, and they sent me the claims form only.. I then proceeded to claim because the claim form has an email on it where you can forward all documents. It's 3 of us in the family claiming for the same deceased... We all sent our claims to RMA as stipulated in the claims form. Only one person from the 3 claimants has received their payment... When i called them to enquired about the other 2 policies not paid, Mbali from claims office says I was supposed to claim with them not with the underwriter, so she can't assist me in that regards because I decided to claim straight with RMA. When I follow up with RMA they telling me that we have used the same policy number to claim which is impossible because each person has their own bokamoso policy number. Bokamoso is no longer answering our calls and we are not getting any assistance from the underwriter either... I'm very disappointed with bokamoso and I regret recruiting people in the family to join after listening to JoziFm advert about bokamoso. Bokamoso should not send us claims documents without attaching their email address and tell us to claim directly to them
I have made a claim as a Bokamoso policy holder and their broker or underwriter is RMA. I made the claim with RMA as stipulated on the claims documents given by bokamoso on the 26th of November 2024. I have not received any feedback or call from RMA,.. We are 3 in the family claiming for the same deceased, however only one person has been paid. Now they are telling us that we have the same policy number so they can't pay, which is impossible on our side because our policies with Bokamoso are not the same, however RMA has decided to put all out claims under one person which makes it difficult for the 2 of us to receive our money. We've called Bokamoso funeral policy however they are also failing to resolve the issue and no longer answering our calls. RMA as well is blaming us and the policy numbers they created for us are incorrect. No one is calling us to fix the problem from both Bokamoso and RMA... I'm really disappointed with the service we've received and I regret recruiting people to join the scheme.
I app**** for the two pot system money on the 6th of September 2024 and my application has been stuck on tax application for 13days now. When ever I call Alexforbes to follow up about it, they told me they are waiting for SARS/ tax directive to respond. I then called SARS to enquire about the delay as Alex forbes stated, however SARS told me that they have never received my application from Alexforbes. I then contacted Alexforbes again to inform them then they said yes they haven't submitted my application, meaning they've been lying to me. I then asked them to please move my application for payment and they told me to wait for 20days. I'm very disappointed with Alexforbes because all or most of my colleagues have received their money within 7 days except me. I've sent several emails to them but they have not responded to any. I'm very disappointed
