Good day, I'm writing this review with so much disappointments and infuriated. I gave birth in this hospital hoping for a best service. Let me first appreciate night shift stuff who assisted me during labour hours, the nurse was very professional she's humble with all human values you can think of. I didn't get her name but she's a Tswana speaking person. We need more people like her in maternity ward. Main concern I have is the morning stuff who comes to work looking horrible not ready to deal with patients, I had a lady assisting me with updates as I was discharged today 17th, However the lady she's so rude, unprofessional, doesn't understand the paint we overcome during labour yet you need to deal with their attitudes. My daughters Dr confirmed if I leave today Frida I should come back for more test. She was shouting at me when I asked what changed now as they keeping me longer, she was aggressive defensive and also providing me with incorrect information her is Kedibone Mokgotho. I feel like she needs more training on how to speak to people more especially patients. I felt so disrespected, hope to hear feedback regarding this horrible I received today 17th Dec 2026.

I had a horrible experience with the hospital staff from administration that took almost the whole day to the treatment of the nurses plus security personnel, we had a critical patient when we arrived at the hospital the administration was poor no communication we were made to wait from arriving at past 1 (13:00) to the patient getting admitted to a ward at 21:00 I am really disappointed in how this was handled and still the rude nurses when we request to see the patient tell us about visiting hours, how does a private hospital have visiting hours like a gov hospital I paid for my mom to get professional care and go see her whenever I want to hence we went there I almost forgot to write about the rude female doctor at casualty makes want to never again choose that hospital as my got to option even though it is the nearest

I took my wife to the hospital so called private as she was complaining about abdominal pains. Upon arrival we assisted by a porter and security who very helpful to us and the receptionist of night 25/10/2025 was sure irritated by us and couldn't really assist us to the fullest and the nurse or sister who take vitals on that very same date was so rude to a point where she commanded a patient to turn on scale machine and was so irritated that she was distracted upon arrival. So going there with medical aid or cash rather you wait for the public clinic cause they can give best service than the hospital lm And after reviewing the remarks people experienced. I can safely all are true and I wonder why they don't change and upgrade to the public sector as they treat us like that.

This has been one for the books. The most unhygienic and uncomfortable hospital. I'm booked in the pediatric ward where we are literally squashed into a space that can fit about two patients. There is no ventilation in the rooms full of our kids coughing, mothers and visitors. The staff only focus more on the patients they know best. Asking for things like water can take up to two hours in waiting. My sons hand was bleeding from the drip he wasn't attended to. When the nurse came she just switched the machine and didn't change his bandage until it was in the evening. There's two ladies who happen to be trainees that don't know anything. When you ring the bell they come running but with no knowledge how to operate anything. Sisters usually don't know any information regarding our kids yet they are the ones that keep giving medication that they themselves don't explain to the parents. I'm in a room with three other mothers and there's no soap nor disinfectant solution. Linen gets changed late after having to ask for it. The beds that mothers sleep on are absolutely uncomfortable and you'll have to spend the whole day sitting on the chair still. A nebulizer was administered to my son and the sister disappeared for hours while my son was on oxygen. Until I had to figure it out on my own and switch it off I wouldn't recommend this maternity ward to anyone looking to give birth or have their kids taken care of. All staff in this ward need some intense training otherwise we'll loose our kids

Not deserving of even a single star. My lil sister was admitted for an induction at the maternity ward, though the doctors are great, the nurses need training on how to be professional. How can Sister Pulane ask my little sister why she was admitted before being full term? She harassed my sister till she was switched with another nurse. After birth, the issue started with the paed who kept playing games and never giving information and spewing a different story everyday on what the actual problem was with our little angel. We complained to a point we were fed up,we asked they discharge the baby and she opted for a transfer to delay the progress. Whilst waiting for the ambulance to move our baby to Legae, they refused my lil sister to see her child till my mom escalated that matter as well and she **** saying she didn't. I'd rather go to public hospital before I set my foot there again. Hope we never meet again.

The hospital is my worst experience. I was admitted in December 2024 to give birth at maternity. We were made to sleep in one small room with 3 other patients (meaning it was the 4 of us) and had to share 1 shower. It was so hot there was no aircon and proper ventilation. Whenever visitors came there was minimal privacy. The food portions were very small for a breastfeeding mom. The nurse who was allocated to me to assist with labor was not empathetic at all. A few days later my daughter was admitted in the pediatric unit for neonatal jaundice and I had to lodge with her because she's still breastfeeding. We were squeezed in a room which only accommodates one patient and their mother, however there was another lady and her baby so it was the 4 of us in there. The sleeper coach that they made us to sleep on were very uncomfortable without any pillow given. There were lots of lodger mothers in the ward and we had to share one bath with toilet. I remember I needed to use the toilet urgently and it was occupied, there was no alternative toilet in the ward for mothers to use. The bath did not even have a proper stopper they were using a milk lid to close the bath 🤦♀️. There was no hand-wash soap in the dispenser in the toilet for days. We had to pay for food as lodger mothers, the kitchen staff did not even come to us to give us the menu, we had to run after them to request the food then pay. The night staff nurses were very horrible, they were very loud and slept during working hours. There was an assistant nurse by the name of Koketso, she was allocated to my baby and was so rude, she kept on chewing a gum was very unprofessional and seemed irritated whenever I asked her for help, she should have considered a different career because nursing is clearly not for her. The positive experience I had was from the paeds day staff, the sister in charge was sister Mabena. Sister Mabena and her shift were very helpful, patient and seemed to be very passionate about their work. Furthermore, the baby's pediatrician, Dr Tshetlho was amazing. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone. It's a modernized government hospital. I'm honestly disappointed, management needs to do better otherwise they will lose patients to the nearest private hospital which is way better.
