I dropped off some clothes (34 items) to be ironed on 10.04.2022 -- (total cost of service: ZAR 200). I asked both Jessica (receptionist/ironing person) and Nicky (other receptionist/ironing person) to put the clothes on hangers as they tend to crease if folded after ironing.
I collected the clothes on 14.04.2022. My request to put all my clothes on hangers was not met -- even though I always return all the hangers.
On 18.04.2022, I took back 19 items of clothing to be re-ironed -- i.e., folded clothes as well as clothes on hangers that were not ironed properly first time round. I also took back one pyjama shirt because it had a section that looked damaged/burnt.
As far as I know, my clothes were ironed by Jessica, but Nicky proceeded to accuse me of taking back: (i) different clothes from the ones that I dropped off on 10.04.2022; and (ii) a pyjama shirt that was either already damaged/burnt or had a substance on the damaged/burnt section prior to 10.04.2022.
In other words: (i) I was lying about my clothes not being ironed properly -- and was trying to con Bright and Fresh Cleaners out of < ZAR 200 by having them iron additional clothes for free, and (ii) I was lying about my pyjama shirt being undamaged when I dropped off my clothes on 10.04.2022.
Further, clothes are meant to be ironed inside out so as to protect the fabric from damage -- but according to Nicky, they iron clothes on both sides!
Nicky was rude, and her behaviour unacceptable -- she needs to be taught how to treat customers courteously.
Even though George (business owner/manager), who I spoke to thereafter, was polite and apologetic -- I am compelled to take my business elsewhere next time.
