Terrible service from Britannia Hotel staff

On the 3rd of December we arrived at Britania hotel at approximately 1:30pm to have lunch for our anniversary . We walked to the bar area and noticed that it was a bit full. We then seated ourselves on the outside benches, hoping to be noticed by a waitress. 5min later without even receiving a menu, a waitress approach us and asked if we know what we want to order, I asked hre how.. We don't even have a menu. Still no menu in sight we asked another staff member if we could be moved into the main restaurant, she acknowledged that there was space. Thinking she would show us our table, we had to find a table for ourselves....

We seated ourselves and I had to ask a waitress for a menu. One menu was given to my wife and I to share of which that menu didn't even have a drinks page in it.

After 10 minutes trying to get a waitress attention, I asked for a menu that has a drinks list. She went and returned, threw a menu rudely on the table and walked away. To my surprise I opened the menu and it was a file with empty sleeves in it... At this time I was fuming with anger... I called the same waitress and opened the file and asked her what she expected me to order from an empty folder.. She left to fetch another menu, I waited another 10min for her and I just couldn't go on...

We then woke up and left the restaurant, apon leaving thee was a female at the reception door who asked why we are leaving, I explained to her that we have been sitting there for 30min without a menu...

On the 04th I called the hotel to lay a complaint. I spoke to a female who addressed herself as part of management, she then said she remembered me from the 3rd as I spoke to her when I was leaving ... Explained my situation to her, she didn't even have the decency to apologize, instead her response was that she would investigate the matter and get back to me, and she cut the call.... I would wonder how she would get back to me as she didn't even bother to take down any details of mines.
