Good day I want to launch a complaint as my rights were violated. I quote "The Act defines 'processing' as collecting, receiving, recording, organizing, retrieving, or the use, distribution or sharing of any such information." I gave no rights for my personal details to be shared nor have I signed any agreements with "Newsroom Africa". In 2021 I received a call for an interview from Sakon (journalist) She represented " Newsroom Africa) for World Aids day. She never gave me any contract or documents to sign for my personal details to be broadcast on national TV. Sakona acknowledged that what Newsroom Africa did to expose my personal details was not part of the interview as they were no agreements signed to expose my personal details on TV. SAPRA made use of my personal details knowing that there were no agreements signed but my details come up on the news more than 5 times. I have been living with HIV for more the 21 years now. Never in my life was I stripped from my flesh like this, my whole details from my ID number, Phone number, My clinic card with my medical history, Full description of my medication Name, and surname. I don't know why SAPRA strip me off like this, let alone Newsroom Africa played it on national TV. I am a single mother with four boys. Whiles my details played on national TV a stranger called me out of nowhere to ask me how can I let my details play on TV see more evidence below. Whiles seeing my personal details on National TV (I received a call from the Journalist "sakona" requesting to share my details with the edited of Newsroom Africa. On the 26th of June, I received a call from the Edited at Newsroom Africa to apologize for exposing my personal details. I want to sue SPARA and Newsroom Africa for violating my rights to privacy as per my constitutional right, and for exposing my personal details to the world without my consent.
