Bugs & Sparks was contracted to complete work at my home, and the result was nothing short of catastrophic. Their workmanship was careless, their team unqualified for the job, and the aftermath left me with tens of thousands of rands in damage.

Their installer broke my solar panel during the job, incorrectly installed the new geyser (causing a major water leak), and failed to seal the system properly — resulting in my ceiling collapsing and significant damage to my home and personal belongings.

When I contacted them urgently for assistance, they were dismissive and slow to respond. Despite clear evidence of negligence, they accepted no responsibility. I have been left to foot the bill for all repairs while their insurer drags out the process with zero communication or resolution.

I went out of my way to make sure everything was repaired to protect the new homeowner — something they should have done. Instead, I’ve been met with silence, avoidance, and continued costs.

If you’re considering using Bugs & Sparks, ask yourself what you’d do if something went wrong. Because when it does — and in my case, it absolutely did — you will be left completely on your own.

Use at your own risk. And be prepared to clean up their mess alone.
