I am the co-owner of a business in South Africa, and I’ve been harassed by so-called “Business Directory” ****mers since 2016. They’ve resurfaced again in 2025—same tactics, same threats.

I am the co-owner of a legitimate plumbing business in South Africa, and I’ve been harassed by so-called “Business Directory” ****mers since 2016. They’ve resurfaced again in 2025—same tactics, same threats.
They send **** invoices with incorrect business details (e.g., “Invoice #10545” dated 13/06/2016), claiming I owe them money for a listing I never agreed to. I never signed any contract or credit agreement. Yet they continue to send emails from addresses like:
• `bdirectory218@gmail.com`
• `info@businessdirectory.co.za`
• `finance@businessdirectory.co.za`
• `accounts@businessdirectory.co.za`
• `Legal@directory101.co.za`
• `fouchenicolene@gmail.com`
They threaten to list my business as a “bad payer” on Google, Pinterest, and ITC—even though they have no legal grounds to do so. I once made a payment in good faith to cancel the matter, but they ignored it and kept harassing me.
This is a ****. Their threats are ********, and their invoices are *****ulent. They prey on small businesses using fear and deception.
I’ve reported them to the relevant authorities and blocked all communication. I urge others to do the same. Do not pay them. Do not engage. And please help expose them by sharing your experience.
