I had a wonderful experience with Ca Cell when I had a claim that was processed through them from my insurance - I paid excess and the phone was delivered the same day. I just want a refund nothing else nothing more, placed my order on the 15th of November till now I haven't received my order and worse thing I was the only one fishing for updates from them, they should just forget about being on this industry because they are acting like back door and shady company. No professionalism or whatsoever.

📢 Complaint Title: Faulty Phone Received – No Support, Delay in Refund, and Poor Customer Service 📝 Complaint Summary: I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from both Vodacom (Brackenfell Central) and CA Cell (sales@cacell.co.za) regarding a brand-new phone I ordered and received, which became unusable within less than 24 hours of use. 📆 Timeline of Events: 2 June 2025: I submitted my ID to CA Cell as requested and was told to expect delivery in 3–5 working days. 3 June 2025: I received the phone and set it up. 4 June 2025 (06:00): The phone became unresponsive — I could not enter my PIN; only incoming calls came through. 4 June 2025: CA Cell advised me to visit a Vodacom store. I went to Vodacom Brackenfell Central, where I spent nearly an hour. They were unable to assist and referred me to Canal Walk Mall. The technician declared a factory fault, and the phone needed to be booked in for 20–30 days. I requested urgent collection and refund/replacement as the device was new and essential for work and my daughter’s exam preparation. 5 June 2025: The device was collected by the courier at 14:25. 6 June – 13 June 2025: Repeated calls and emails were exchanged, and CA Cell claimed the device was in safe mode and that no fault was found, refusing a refund. 18 June 2025: I received the device again — still locked and unusable. 19 June 2025: No proper resolution offered. CA Cell continues to deny responsibility and claims the issue is user-related. 📌 My Complaint: The phone was faulty from day one — activated at 14:00, stopped working by 06:00 the next morning. No meaningful support from Vodacom Brackenfell, who referred me elsewhere. CA Cell delayed responses, shifted blame, and is now refusing a refund despite the ongoing issues. My work and family responsibilities were severely disrupted due to the lack of a working phone. ❗️ What I Expect: Immediate refund or full replacement with a new working device. Formal apology from both Vodacom and CA Cell. Reimbur*****t for the inconvenience and time wasted.

I bought a Tecno phone from CaCell last month for use in the country in West Africa where I am living as an expat. I traveled back to West Africa with the phone but when I tried to initialize the phone, it locked and told me that me that I would not be able to use it, and to take it back to the supplier. The fact that the phone is locked to the country was NOT mentioned on their website. It turns out that Tecno phones are country-locked to the country of purchase. Tecno website has a dumb complicated procedure to request unlocking but by all accounts after an extensive web search, it doesn't work in most cases. They also want an unacceptable amount of personal private information to submit with the appeal. CaCell did acknowledge my initial complaint but have since done nothing about it. They ignore email update requests, which is the only way I can contact them as I don't do Whatscr#p. The cost of sending the phone back to South Africa would exceed the value of the phone and I am not due to travel back to SA until the middle of next year. I do not recommend anyone to buy from CaCell, nor to buy Tecno and Itel products. When i do go back to SA I will be taking legal action

However, my experience quickly turned into a nightmare of broken promises and poor customer service. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service, I was met with endless delays and excuses. The pinnacle of this ordeal was a particularly rude interaction with a customer service agent(Name starts with a B and ends with O), who abruptly ended the call after I requested a cancellation. It's clear that CaCellular prioritizes neither customer satisfaction nor timely order fulfillment. I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from this company to reconsider. It's best to stick to reputable retailers who value their customers' time and money.

I would the to give a round of a plause to agent Boitumelo from CaCell that lady knows her jobs and very communicative with her customers. She assisted with my food processor when it was broken and it got fixed and everytime she kept me updated untill i got my order. Big ups Boitu...

I was an employee there at eltel / cacellular from the 1st of August and it's the worst call center ever I have ever worked for with alot of favoritism there's a manager there called mano she came in at her own time with an attitude and plays ticktok loud while we are nor allowed to use our phones on the floor they want sales with no leads at all they give us used leads to dail for vodacom while they are mtn leads and telkom and once we done with them they give them to the other campaign netstar to make sales which is ridiculous they tell you you get paid 2000 for travel but if u stay away they take 100rands
