Complaint about Camdix Wapens – Krugersdorp I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from Camdix Wapens in Krugersdorp. I contacted the store to order a specific part and was quoted a price of R1 450. Based on this quotation, I made arrangements to collect the item and drove a considerable distance to the store. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the total price had suddenly increased to almost R2 000, with no prior communication or explanation regarding the price change. When I raised my concern and explained that I had travelled from far based on their original quotation, the owner was dismissive and arrogant, showing no understanding or willingness to assist in resolving the issue. I found the attitude and lack of professionalism extremely disappointing. As a customer, I expect transparency, honesty, and basic courtesy—none of which I experienced during my interaction with Camdix Wapens. This incident has left me very reluctant to support or recommend this business in the future.

Scope repaires
Good day I handed my crimson trace rifle scope in at camdix weapons on the 29 November 2024 and reported it faulty. It took the rep of crimson trace almost 2 weeks to fetch the scope from Camdix Weapons at Krugersdorp and to be informed that crimson trace offices are situated at Pretoria. Today is the 19 th of December 2024 and till today i have had no response from Crimson trace Scope i baught for R 5750,00 cash at Camdix Weapons

Disappointing
Was shipped the wrong product. A week later I am still waiting for the correct product. Very dissapointing service and the staff seems inexperienced. I will not purchase from Camdix again in the future. There are more reliable and professional online retailers out there.

Camdix zero customer loyalty
Spend nearly R250k at Camdix shop on new guns, had a manufacture failure on a new very expensive rifle, they sent the broken firing pin to be repaired at a local gunsmith, but I had to pay for the repairs but the rifle is a few months old, after asking why I needed to pay for the repair, they simply shrugged their shoulders and said the gunsmith was supposes to invoice the importers......After spending a **** load of money at them they simply don't give a damn....the second very expensive rifle I bought turned out to be shop soiled with heavy wear on the components from demonstrating the workings to future clients.... I still had to pay full price for the rifle, it was only discovered after bringing the rifle home for inspection that the shop soiled weapon was discovered....this same rifle has a grouping if about 3m,yes 3000mm at 100m,its clearly faulty, a R30k rifle, I have yet to discover their unreasonable excuse and fear its just going to end up being my problem as per usual after dealing with Camdix...... Im done with camdix... No loyalty rewards not a single percent of discount or renumeration after spending a small fortune! (5 brand new weapons) Im a very dissatisfied client and wil never support them again. Also had a bad experience with purchasing a spotting scope, the list just goes on and on....they stock ******* products, they do not stock the best or even middle tier products. They will go out of their way to sell you *******....

It's intuitive and easy to use, with payment and confirmation transparent and quick. They do charge R150 for delivery, which is quite a premium, however, my order was placed on a Tues at midday and it arrived in Durban on Wed at midday, so frankly it's worth paying. I'll happily buy from them again in the future.

After having some issues with other similar online retailers, I thought I'd give Camdix a try. Their website is very simply laid out with no clutter. It's intuitive and easy to use, with payment and confirmation transparent and quick. They do charge R150 for delivery, which is quite a premium, however, my order was placed on a Tues at midday and it arrived in Durban on Wed at midday, so frankly it's worth paying. I'll happily buy from them again in the future.

Brilliant service!
Bought some stuff from their online shop and all arrived without problems. Will support them in future for sure!! Best known prices of any gunshop in RSA. Great stock of LEE stuff as well.
