We purchased a stretch beach shelter from makro, 3x3, easy to setup and light but the fabric tore on day one and with the material stretched it does not provide much uv protection. Very disappointing

I recently bought a new Camp Master Instant Shade 205 Plus Gazebo. Tried using it over the weekend for the first time but It struggled to open, causing some of the parts to brake or bend. Upon inspecting, I noticed that the iron used are of poor quality. I am very disappointed. When I always assumed the Camp Master brand to be superior in comparison with rest. My mistake. Won't make that mistake again. R999 in the water.

Hi, On the 23 of September 2025 I bought a Camp Master gazebo at Game, Cape Gate Branch. We went camping on the 25th of September and started putting setting up. There was no wind whatsoever and suddenly the wind picked up (there was no weather warning to say the wind was gonna pick up). We were immediately on ou way to take the gazebo down when the poles broke. This meant we had to sit in sit sun which caused my heavy discomfort and sunburn. We had to cut our trip short due to having no shade and it was warm. We returned home and came to Game to return the gazebo that has broken poles. Now this people who work here tell me only the sail is garanteed and not the poles so I can't get a refund... on a gazebo that was only up for 20-30min. Sylvester who is the manager (and of NO help) advised that someone at the camping department should've told me about the garentee and that it's only on the sail and silver brackets. I told him no one was even at the camping department and his response was "we should've asked for someone". Now get this, I DONT WORK FOR GAME!!!!! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT YOU CANT JUST PURSHASE SOMETHING YOU NEED TO GET SOMEONE IN THE SPESIFIC DEPARTMENT TO ASSIST YOU???? PLEASE GIVE ME AN ANSWER??? Caus clearly I'm too stupid to understand. Sylvester continued to tell me that the T&C's is is inside of the sail... okay so was I then suppose to open the entire thing (without staff caus no one was at the camping department) ? Even when I was at the till the lady didn't explain the garentee to me? Sylvester just pulled up his shoulders and told me he can't give a refund because it's not covered - again how was I supposed to now? Cape Gate manager is of no help and no understanding. I must now have a gazebo where they just replaced the poles that is probably going to break again. Absolute terrible service from Game. The is utterly disgusting! I don't want the gazebo, I want my money back and I will be sure to take this to Hello Peter and all over social media. GIVE BACK MY MONEY. AND ALSO, CHECK THE FOOTAGE FOR YOUSELF AND YOU WILL SEE THERE WAS NO ONE AT THE CAMPING DEPARTMENT. See the photos attached. Taro Louw

Be aware when you purchase a Camp Master INFLATABLE AIR BED DOUBLE. They stated that the product size is: 191 (L) X 137 (W) X 25 (H) cm I purchase one at MAKRO and after inflated it fully the actual size : 184 (L) X 130 (W) X 20 (H) if you calculate the volume (cm3), there is 175 775 cm3 missing.

Dear Camp Master Customer Service, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding two Camp Master sleeping bags I purchased from Game Stores—one on the 13th of April and another on the 26th of April 2025. Unfortunately, both sleeping bags were found to have holes upon use, which is unacceptable, especially given the price points of R499 and R399 respectively. When I returned to the Game store to seek assistance, I was told that these products are not designed for everyday use and that I would need to purchase bicycle patch kits to repair them myself. This response was highly disappointing and unhelpful, considering the substantial amount I spent and the fact that these items should meet a basic quality standard, regardless of usage frequency. In the current economic climate, R899 is a significant investment for me, and I feel let down by both the product quality and the lack of support offered. I was also told that the products have no guarantees, which I find unacceptable for a reputable brand such as Camp Master. I kindly request the following: Immediate assistance in resolving this matter. A replacement or refund for the defective sleeping bags. Clarification on your warranty or quality guarantee policy for sleeping gear. Please treat this as urgent. I am happy to provide proof of purchase and photos of the defects upon request. Really disappointed with the poor quality of camp master Gazebos. We bought a Gazebo last Thursday, used it on Saturday, one wind blew and the leg bent, this means that something that sells for R1500 is only ment to be used once ? The managers at Game said the don't cover acts of God !!! That means the Gazebos is not strong enough to handle 1 wind... this ridiculous as the product is made for outdoor use, it wasn't a world wind ,it was a normal wind ,how does this bend a leg unless it is made with cheap material

I logged a ticket in November 2024 to see if my chair could be repaired. NO response. I eventually called in December, and finally got through to someone, sent all details and images and only then received a case number. They then closed office between 20 December 2024 and 6 January 2025. Followed up on 23 January as I had still not received any feedback. No reply. Another follow up on 3 February - only to then receive a reply stating the person that had assisted me has left the company. On 4 February I sent ANOTHER email to see if someone else can assist or even log a new ticket. Someone called Tariq rep**** and I resent all info and images AGAIN. Today is 4 March 2025 and STILL NO RESPONSE! I might as well throw all my campmaster **** in the garbage and buy other brands. Absolutely pathetic customer service.

3 months ago and every week i ask for help to get tent poles for my brand new tent, all the poles was ****** and i wanted to order new poles but camp master simply ignore my mails. I have been buying all my equipment for over 25 years from them yet now that i need help they cose to ignore me after they asked my tent aize and oromised to get back to me months ago, now they simply ignore me. I am done with there products.
