Today 30/01/2024 I was expecting a delivery from JHB to CPT Campost Transport, they sent a vague SMS yesterday to say they will deliver today 30/01/2024 and they stipulated the times between 08h00 and 17h00. I live in South Africa and I work 9-5. Today at around 10:02 I received a phone call from the driver to say that he was at the gate and I politely told him I was not home I was at work and asked if he could come back later even if it meant I was the last one to receive my delivery I will be home then. He rudely dismissed me and told me that he couldn't come back, I needed to call the office to reschedule for another time. I asked him why he didn't call me first before he came so I could get home when he arrived and then we won't have issues, he said he expected someone to be home, then he hung up the phone. Around 12h00 I called the office the call centre agent lady was very polite however in the background was her manager who took over the phone to emphasize his position in the company and was utterly rude about it. The gentleman was not willing to assist or listen to my complaint. he kept accusing me that I called everyone rude which was not true but his way of running away from the truth. he ended up hanging up the phone without letting me know when they would deliver my parcel, this could be tomorrow, next month, or next year, and because there was no resolution the same issue could occur AGAIN. this company has no customer service the team is unprofessional, from the driver to the manager. They team up on you to make you look guilty. I am so disappointed in the service I received. I will not advise anyone to use Campost transport. I paid so much money to be treated like this. there are so many options out there this one is a NO GO.
