Canon - great printers - no ink

I have two Canon inkjet printers and they both work very well. My complaint is the availability of ink cartridges for the Pro 100S model. My local photographic shop has other customers wanting the same items. It is now probably four months since they had stock. They gave me the name and number of the Canon representative. He just makes promises, the last was the ink will be here by end December. He no longer answers my calls.
