Escape Gear - The only place to buy seat covers.
I have had Escape Gear seat covers in my car for four years. The driver's seat, mostly because I did not retention the straps, wore a hole. I took my car to their office in Cape Town where they removed the seat cover and a week later refitted it with a new panel sewn in place. Fantastic service. Their new floor mats are also great

Canon - great printers - no ink
I have two Canon inkjet printers and they both work very well. My complaint is the availability of ink cartridges for the Pro 100S model. My local photographic shop has other customers wanting the same items. It is now probably four months since they had stock. They gave me the name and number of the Canon representative. He just makes promises, the last was the ink will be here by end December. He no longer answers my calls.

Told Standard Bank that I did not require a financial advisor but still being charged commission
In February I was contacted by a Standard Bank advisor and asked if I would like him to be my financial advisor. As I had not been contacted by a Standard Bank advisor since 2021, I said in writing that I didn't need an advisor. Last month I noticed that an advisor is still receiving commissions from my investments. I contacted Standard Bank who informed me that I have to complete a form to get rid of an advisor. They sent me the form but certain information such as the advisors FSP license number and the financial advisor code are missing and after repeated request to provide the information needed to complete section B, I'm having to resort to HelloPeter
