Do not buy these canopies there is nothing Bakgat about them they are absolute trash. You will throw away 20k on a canopy that will never function properly no matter how much you seal it and try to fix it you can't fix bad manufacturing. These horrible people took advantage of the fact that we would not be able to return if there were problems due to not being local and did not have time. Hydraulic arm lifts never worked which could have and almost did lead to a nasty head injury, leaked from the moment it was installed and smaller than any canopies we had before or those of friends. The leaks which we tried to seal in the very limited time we had cost us close to 15k in damages to the stuff we packed that we needed the canopy for in the first place. We would have been better served with a plastic drop sheet over our things. I should have known though anyone that lists a price exl vat in SA is a red flag you do not have good intentions you are here to swindle people if you do that in a country where that is not the norm. I hope this review gets seen by those who need to it is not worth the headache. Stay away

Bought a "Bakgat" Fibreglass Canopy 1st review ....Ok experience. Affordable products. Even open on a Saturday to accommodate me. 1 month later review: flap pistons keep popping off , seems bad design too much angled pressure and not good seating of ball brackets. The locks on the flap don't lock because their is a cut out of the fibreglass where the rubber runs over so now the rubber pulled loose and the canopy can't lock Welcome to shyte service and even shyter products Tried contacting and discussing the issue then I'm advised to drive from Citrusdal to Parow to have a look at it. I said I'll buy other gas struts to see if that makes a difference and they said that's ok but not offer me any other resolution After weeks of trying to sort this issue I'm cable tying the gas strut in place . The weather seals are also coming off The roof racks were loose when I tried for first time ****py workmanship ****py product Just looks nice Oh by the way the gentleman that I liased with left the company and sent me a message saying how *** the product is
