The below email is what I wrote to CANSA Rustenburg due to their poor and rude service!
To whom it may concern, I am writing this letter of complaint to raise your awareness on how CANSA in Rustenburg treat their customers. I am extremely upset by the poor and rude service my mom received by the staff members on Friday, 28 January 2022. My mother, who suffers with stage 3 breast cancer and Chronic Asthma reached out in person for help at the CANSA Centre in Olienhoutln Ave. She was referred by Hospice, since they also refused to provide any care in any possible way. She was in extreme pain and felt hopeless. CANSA refused to assist my mother multiple times before, she was in desperate need for any help or any assistance, and the staff members at the front desk didn't show any interest and couldn't even lift their chin up to look at her or listen to her story. Instead of having a conversation with her or trying to help, they just continued with what they were busy with and talked in their own language so that my mother couldn't understand what they were saying. This is absolutely disrespectful and my mom didn't deserve this poor service. According to google, ''CANSA is a leader in the fight against cancer, the purpose is to offer a unique, integrated service to the public and to all people affected by cancer.'' Please can someone tell me where do they offer this ''unique, integrated service to the public'' since this is not what my mom received at all?? I am the daughter of Cynthia Mey, and situated in Cape Town. It is heartbreaking to see that people that offers services for care, are so careless (hence I'm so far away). I am going to take this matter further, this is unacceptable.
