I am a paying Canva user and I am extremely disappointed in the way Canva has handled the rollout of its new video editor. The previous Canva video editor was simple, intuitive, and effective. I had mastered it and produced excellent work using its drag-and-drop, scene-based approach. Without proper warning or a real opt-out, Canva replaced this stable tool with a beta video editor that is not functioning reliably. Paying users are now being forced to work in a beta environment with noticeable glitches, instability, and workflow disruptions — while still meeting real deadlines. This is unacceptable. Beta software should be optional, not imposed on customers who rely on the platform for professional output. What makes this especially disappointing is that Canva removed choice. A responsible rollout would have allowed users to: stay on the old editor, opt into the new version voluntarily, and be offered proper training or guidance. Instead, loyal users were left to troubleshoot unfinished software under time pressure. I currently have deadlines and am being forced to learn a new system that does not yet work properly. This change feels like a regression, not an improvement. Canva built its reputation on simplicity and accessibility — and this update undermines that trust. I am raising this complaint because paying customers deserve stability, transparency, and respect — not to be treated as test subjects for unfinished features.

I am sharing my experience, so others don’t fall victim to Canva’s reckless billing practices. Canva repeatedly attempted unauthorized transactions on my bank account, even after confirming the charges were *****ulent, causing me hundreds in banking fees. Despite multiple requests, they refuse to refund these extra charges, only returning a portion of my money while ignoring the financial harm they caused. 🔴 Summary of Canva’s Misconduct 📌 Canva deducted funds without authorization, triggering penalty fees. 📌 I reported the ***** in January 2025, and Canva confirmed I did not authorize the charges. 📌 Instead of stopping, Canva aggressively attempted debit orders multiple times (Jan 20 – Feb 5). 📌 Each failed debit attempt cost me additional banking fees, which Canva refuses to refund. 📌 Despite clear proof, Canva refuses to take responsibility for the financial harm they caused. 🚨 PUBLIC WARNING ⚠ DO NOT TRUST CANVA WITH YOUR BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION. ⚠ If Canva attempts unauthorized transactions on your account, demand a full refund immediately. ⚠ If Canva refuses to refund you, REPORT THEM to authorities and take legal action. I will continue escalating this case until Canva fully compensates me for the ******** banking fees they caused. If you have experienced similar *****ulent transactions, report Canva and help expose their practices. 📢 Help spread awareness—SHARE THIS POST to protect others from financial *****!

They will charge you for months after you cancel your account (and it is a very confusing process to cancel to begin with) even if you completely remove your credit card details. When you send a query, there is an automated response saying that they don't do refunds, yet I cancelled months ago? Suspsicious really.

****! Do not create an account with them as they can charge you despite not subscribing or giving them your credit card. I have been charged twice despite not subscribing on any of my accounts and have not putting in my card details. STAY CLEAR!

Being a pensionar with a huge creative and enquiring spirit, i need somehow to use these tools in order to prevent boredom and help some of my colleagues to find jobs. Cv writing is showcasing an applicant's personality,, skills, on all levels. I needed some style and colour magnifying those ideas on paper. Easy? No way. I found Canva on the web and did what i had to do. The variety in styles, themes, types are enormous. But canva never lost iys pasience, guided and showed me how. I cannot afford Premium, but did not need it. From making book covers ( im an author too) to advert logos etc, just name it and they help you find it. Thank you Canva for youre insight and help. Im a follower for life.

My CV was a mess. It had to have a face lift. I couldn't afford all the designing apps, but found Canva.com through browsing the web. Free trial! How to make a new design, was another hradache and one after the other attempts failed. Time was running out fast as this grandmother has to find a job Pronto to survive. Canva taught me through their prompts and pasients. It's done. A brautiful Cafe and strawberry cream design that I'm so proud of. This great app is exactly what I need in my life. To create magic. I salute you Canva.com for magnificence in an app. The choices are endless. For every proffesional design and taste. Unfortuanitly I had to cancel my subscription because the free trial has ended. Nevertheless, I will promote this app to everyone I know. Brilliance in colour

I love Canva so much. When I am feeling lazy, I like to use it instead of Abode illustrtor, and my illustrations still come out looking great, or I use it for inspiration. The monthly rate is actually pretty good, too, for unlimited accounts that can be opened. I currently use their site for Youtube thumbnails and my blog, but they have so many templates and medias that can also be made like resumes, stories, and graphics. I love that they have a ton of fonts to choose from, too, and then you can even upload your own. The possibilities are vast!
