I took my car in to be checked at car service city Rustenburg on Monday I was informed that a diagnose is R640 but if I repair the car with them I won’t have to pay that money just the repair amount . The mechanic asked what’s wrong with my car and I told him the sensors have a fault and that is showing there is something wrong with my left front wheel and back right wheel . They told me to leave the car and should be done around 2 .Around 2 I called car service asking are they done and can they give me a quote the rude lady at reception said no we will call . No one ever called me at 5:15 I went there and the mechanic told me the very same thing I told him in the morning and said maybe I should change my sensors I told him I don’t work with a maybe solution I need a repot for what he is saying and he did not have one . I told the rude ladies at reception that I am not going to pay for the checking as there is no proof that that guy checked my car they refused with my car keys and told me they don’t have an electrician on site I asked how can you not have an electrician but there is a big board saying you do auto electrical She said that board is just there . I requested to speak to the manager and they refused up until I told them I am going to report them that’s when they called the manager and I spoke to him . The manager agreed that they are at fault and that I should leave my car and on Tuesday the 25 of June 2024 he will ask an electrician to come check the car and get me a proper report I waited the whole day again without a car .I called head office and they lady said the store is correct fine I finally got hold of the manager and he told me again the same issue I reported when I got to car service I asked for a solution and he said they will try to fix it I said ok Wednesday I got a call to say the car is not fine I need to replace the sensors but they cannot quote me because they are struggling to find parts of the ford fiesta okay I asked for a solution again the manager told me they will look for sensors and once they get them I will get a quote and if I approve I should bring in the car Okay I went to go fetch my car I arrived there at 17:00 the rude ladies as always were just sorted there busy with there on stuff car was ready and I needed to pay I asked the lady for my invoice and she said she is on it yet I had to 45 minutes for an invoice whilst waiting she assisted other customers so I don’t know if they were undermining me or what :I called the manager to inform him about what is happening after that it did’t even take that lady 2 minutes invoice was out I paid and left my car was so dirty it even had oil spots . Nothing was fixed and those things they said they tried to fix . To top it up all my nut lock is missing and my mirrors no longer fold when I lock my car meaning I now have to to pay someone again after paying R1500 for nothing at car service this is so unfair . Mechanics at Car service just guess and relay on what you tell them and don’t actually check the car
