Do Not Take Your Car to Car Service City Clearwater

After being a loyal customer at the Car Service City Clearwater branch, without any complaints, my recent experience has been the most shocking and terrible service I have EVER received. I sent my car for service on 11 April 2026. After collecting my car, the engine mounting was not fitted properly and I had to take it back several times to get it fixed. That got sorted out and I thanked them for it.

However, there was a knocking sound on my brakes whenever I slowed down using the brakes. I went back to Car Service City and brought it up. The excuse I was given was "my guys did not touch the breaks. The sound is from the brakes getting exposed to rain water." The reason made no sense. Because I became weary of any of their mechanics touching my car, I had another mechanic check it out. Only then was it discovered that the brake caliper bolts on both sides were MISSING!!! Please understand how dangerous this is because I am driving with my young child in the car. No one wanted to take accountability for this ***** up!!! My husband went back to Car Service City and ***ed out the manager who still denied that this was their mistake!!!! ***??? I can appreciate the work on some things that they did. But I do not appreciate the lack of accountability of messing one of the essential components of a vehicles that puts you between life and death!!!! For the money I paid, this is completely unacceptable workmanship. Car Service City Clearwater will not be seeing me again and I call on any person to not take their car there for ANYTHING. It's not worth the hassle.
