Car Zone is still dealing on WhatsApp. They consent that I can put an update on HelloPeter every two weeks, They do not seem to perturbed that I am accusing them of *****. They do not seem to be perturbed about me getting legal advice and they do not mind if I put out a new web page for them. Following up with my first review of Car Zone, I have to report that there has been absolutely no progress. All I get is promisees or no response at all. Following up with my first review of Car Zone, I have to report that there has been absolutely no progress. All I get is promisees or no response at all. Needless to say they do not answer the telephone either. I have no spare part that I have paid for, and I do not get my money back. I have screen shots of out WhatsApp interaction to back up this statement. Unfortunately the system forces me to give them one star, but they are not even worth that. Everything they state on there web site about how good they are, has been proven to be totally untrue. All they have managed to do is to **** an old age pensioner out of R950. Got a quote from Carzone Auto Parts 21 Knights Road, Germiston, for a vehicle body part on 7 February 2026. Document no 2026045. I delayed the order to see if I could get better courier prices, but with an updated quote on 14 February 2026, Doc no 2026212. I did an eft on 15vFebruary 2026 and gave them the delivery address. A response came to give me a waybill the next morning. No waybill. Get a message on the Tuesday: [15:55, 2/17/2026] +27 62 107 3166: Good day , the light was has just been picked up . [15:55, 2/17/2026] +27 62 107 3166: Money reflected today morning. Nothing further. i sent them an email 17 February 2026 at 15:01, which brought the following reply : Good morning sir, Sorry for the inconveniences caused but have just confirmed the parcel is enroute to you. Expect delivery today before 4:30pm. I will ask Marcus to send you the waybill. Kind regards Lee Watson Sales manager Queried the waybill and possible delivery date again later that day, threatening to go to Hello Peter, and I get back the following: Kindly send ur account. I will ask for a refund payout tomorrow. No reasons given. Needless to say that up to now and numerous WhattsApps i have not heard from them again, and I am R950 out of pocket. I have a rent to own vehicle contract with Carzone Bloemfontein. However have received very poor treatment from Mr Ian Schonborn yesterday. I pay my installment monthly on the 1st of the month, however I swithched bank accounts and with the switch over I entered the Carzone bank details in and switched two digits around in error. Mr Ian Schonborn contacted me yesterday asking for the payment to which I responded that it was paid on 1st January which at the time I was unaware of the incorrect account number. I forwarded him the proof of payment to which he accused me of false proof of payment and said he will contact the police. I told him that it is not fake and then he told me the account number is incorrect and it went to the wrong account. I told him that I am sorry for the mistake and will contact the bank at 09:00 when they open and see to retrieve the payment and pay it over to the correct account. Since that message I have had threats, insults and he went as far as to instruct the vehicle to be collected. I paid the installment over to him before 9:30 and he sent me an email saying I can go ask FNB for my money back as he is cancelling contract. His lawyer was then in contact with me and I explained the situation and that it has been rectified. He said he is then cancelling the collection of the vehicle. Yesterday afternoon however Mr Ian Schonborn then disabled the vehicle via Tracker and we could not use the vehicle at all. All this after we had to instruct a mechanic to see why the vehicle would not start as we were not informed by the hirer that he disabled the vehicle through tracker. I contacted Mr Ian Schonborn to enquire again to receive horrible messages and threats in this regard. This was an innocent finger error with payment and not intentional default on payment. However was treated like scum and accused of committing document falsification to which was not even apologized after it became very obvious that it was in fact error and not intentional default. Never in my life has a stranger, that does not know me at all, insulted and spoken to in such a horrible manner.

I took my Renault Rs for an engine rebuilt, paid R40k+ the car ran bearing the first week after he re did the engine. He took the car back and rebuilt the engine again. The car had numerous oil leeks, i took the car back so he can fix the oil leak more than 3 time and every time i got the car back it was still leaking oil. The car ran bearing again and now the owner refuse to repair the car. I had to tou the car to my house were i found half of my engine just in the back of my car. Now i havr basicly lost all that money and the car is worse than it was befor i took the car too him. I would not recommend this "so called car repair specialists" .

On 2014 June the deal of two car was done between Mrs Ester Mangaliso and Mr Pieter Schutte in his office at Car Zone in Klersdorp. The amount of both car was R 140 000.00, which one vehicle was received and the one was having fault of oil liking and the agreement was that it will be taken to repairs and after that they will contact the buyer to fetch the car. In September 2014 the buyer went back to car zone to fetch the remaining car and then it was found in Klerksdorp the same day that they car is till in the same condition and it was taken back and we have asked for the refund and he agreed. The second car was also investigation that is not in good condition so it was taken to the dealer who is dealing only with Chrysler and many faults where recovered and was in black and white. The investigation report was taken back to Mr Schutte with the car and he could not afford to repair the car and the car was still on guarantee, Mr Schutte was suppose to pay out to Mrs Mangaliso amount of R 133 000.00 and he has promise to pay it on end of October 2014. On December 2014 I send my two daughters to asked the whereabouts of the money and He promise to pay on the January 2015 till now.
