Don't be conned at ANEW Ocean Reef Hotel in Zinkwazi, KZN North Coast.

I was told at enquiry that if I pay my deposit immediately a great sea view room would be reserved for us. I duly paid my deposit and we looked forward to a great few days away over xmas after what has been a horrible year for everyone.

Unfortunately I have been conned and lied to. We arrived to a room with a view of a Milk Tree and the explanation from the manager, Vanitha Moodley, that rooms are allocated on a first arrive, first allocation basis. Simply put, tough luck for arriving 5 minutes later than the family before us.

If I had wanted to see a tree for my view I could have stayed at home. Why bother driving 700+km's for a view of a tree.

Don't be conned and don't believe anything the staff at ANEW Ocean Reef Hotel in Zinkwazi tell you.

Disgusted and disappointed.
