I was told at enquiry that if I pay my deposit immediately a great sea view room would be reserved for us. I duly paid my deposit and we looked forward to a great few days away over xmas after what has been a horrible year for everyone. Unfortunately I have been conned and lied to. We arrived to a room with a view of a Milk Tree and the explanation from the manager, Vanitha Moodley, that rooms are allocated on a first arrive, first allocation basis. Simply put, tough luck for arriving 5 minutes later than the family before us. If I had wanted to see a tree for my view I could have stayed at home. Why bother driving 700+km's for a view of a tree. Don't be conned and don't believe anything the staff at ANEW Ocean Reef Hotel in Zinkwazi tell you. Disgusted and disappointed.
Just found out that Vodacom have been charging me over R250 pm for “entertainment services” (apparently a service called Hunky Dory) that I know nothing about and never signed up for. Call centre agent says they can’t do anything about it and I need to cancel it myself. Absolutely crazy!! Really disgusted with Vodacom
