Posing as hiring company but ****
This company is very bad FOR SOUTH AFRICAN BUSINESSES IN CAR HIRING SPACE and im owed R10,000.00 by Car Jet. They were using Europa cars for giving me a car as they are based internationally not in south Africa , i came to collect a car at Europa OR Tambo and there i payed full car value and but to my suprise i still had to pay money similar to the booking , Europa canceled the very expensive deal of Carjet posing as cheap and i had to re book at Europa, as they assisted me very well as i had to pay new fees altogether with my credit card all in all that day i had to spend R30 000.00 for hiring a car because of Car jet bad service and when i phone them they take me from pillar to post and a Nigerian man with authority tells me they wont refund a cancelled deal where companies usually takes a certain fee around 2% for cancelations but Carjet they take it all im taking them to ombudsman of hiring industry to report them

JETCAR and their SA associates GREEN MOTION RENT A CAR are ****MERS
****mers This Company and its associates i South Africa, GREEN MOTION RENT A CAR, are ****mers. They are not transparent about their conditions , which they only publish after you have paid. e.g. they do not let you know you will not get the car without a credit card and that there are no refunds. This after they company came under the search for rental cars that do not require credit cards, the condition only pops up after you pay. The two companies Must be barred for operating in South Africa.

Bad and pathetic service
Bad service ever—I made online payment of R5650.91 to rent a car, I was told to collect the car at Hertz Johannesburg Airport- upon collection I was told it can never be given to me due to my low credit score-I then requested a refund, it’s weeks later of no payment received.

🚨 PUBLIC WARNING: AVOID CARJET AND HERTZ 🚨
I feel compelled to share my recent terrible experience with CarJet and Hertz, in the hope of saving others from the same nightmare. For a 6-day rental in France, I paid €429.67 through CarJet. This package included Platinum Excess Insurance. My booking stated I would collect the vehicle from Hertz at Charles de Gaulle Airport. When I arrived, Hertz couldn’t find my booking at first. After some time, they did locate it, but then charged me an additional €550 holding deposit. When I returned the Renault Clio (in perfect condition) a week later, Hertz issued an invoice for €374.46, which they deducted from my deposit — despite the fact that I already paid CarJet upfront! So, I essentially paid twice for the same rental. My total cost? €803.13 (nearly R19,000!) — for a standard 6-day car rental. I reached out to both companies. CarJet has been completely unresponsive. Hertz sent me a vague response with a reference number and a promise to investigate — but two weeks later, I’ve heard nothing. These companies have shown zero accountability, shocking customer service, and blatant disregard for fair business practices. ⚠️ BE WARNED: If you’re thinking of using CarJet or Hertz — DON’T. They’ve proven to be unreliable, unresponsive, and *********. I will never use them again. Absolute ******.

Carjet is a dud!
Please do not even consider using this company - they keep taking money from my account - you can not get in touch with them - they have removed any contact numbers. You can see from other reviewers how bad it it.

Carjet is a dud!
Please do not even consider using this company - they keep taking money from my account - you can not get in touch with them - they have removed any contact numbers. You can see from other reviewers how bad it it.

DON'T USE THEM - PLEASE!
Absolutely worst third party car rental ever. Please DON'T use them. They refuse to refund after cancelation, and then you try to contact them... No numbers, no replies on email. You might as well throw your money in the water.

Absolutely worst third party car rental ever. Please DON'T use them. They refuse to refund after cancelation, and then you try to contact them... No numbers, no replies on email. You might as well throw your money in the water.

DO NOT USE CARJET
The worst third party booking. They took R1,000 right away without even going thru to my bank to approve. Only sent a booking confirmation which never said which car rental it was, it had on their site "Rent-A-Car" which doesn't exist. At the airport I had to go to another car company because my booking wasn't anywhere. Right when I was finishing up with another car rental company in walk these two ****s with my booking on their phone said, "come with us" and they said they wanted a R14,000.00 deposit (never read that anywhere on their website) even tho we took out full insurance!! They were rude (I think they said PACE was who it was booked with) trying to fight me, swearing at me. I rented from the other car rental "First Car" and they only wanted a R2,000 deposit. I know for a fact if I would have given the other people that big deposit I wouldn't get my money back. I've reported Carjet to my bank as a *****. DO NOT USE THEM! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD! 👎🏼 I reported them as ***** to my bank.
