Very disappointed
Had my hair done at Carlton hair Somerset Mall. Was not happy. I was told to come for a correction. The correction ended up even worse than the first time. I'm so disappointed and embarrassed to even show my hair. I'm having to tie it up to hide it. The colour would have been better if I did it myself at home. The lady kept wanting to tone and it already looked so bad, didn't want anymore damage. Now im stuck with this hair 😫 I spent R2200 and never even left happy!

Very disappointed

Carlton Lonehill - Disgusting
My heart is shattered, I was on chemo medication a year ago and had been growing out the hair I had left to be able to look after the integrity of my hair. Amanda had coloured my hair before and even did just face framing while I was on chemotherapy. No problem when I went last week. The experience at lonehill was not the same. They were rushed overbooked and rushed my Root touch up. When I saw the colour of my blonde I was absolutely shocked it was orange and not at all what I wanted. They pushed me to apply bleach again but because of my hair knowledge I knew my already fragile hair wouldn’t be able to not be damaged and the integrity of my hair wouldn’t be the same. They reffered me to management at head office after silence , they were rude and not understanding I offered them to contact me so I could send photos of what happend and till today nothing. My heart breaks hair is a women’s confidence.

Carlton hair Melrose
I booked an appointment at Carlton Hair and by chance, a lovely young lady named Rose did my hair. From the very start, I was impressed she was so gentle, she’s very hardworking she was called every second to assist with something , and you could truly see how much passion and care she puts into her work. I felt so well taken care of. What broke my heart was when I tried to book with her again, only to find out that I couldn’t because she’s still a student and doesn’t take clients officially yet. I was so disappointed , I did not believe because after me I was saw her blowdrying another client. She has real talent and such a beautiful way with clients. Carlton Hair, you truly have a gem in Rose and it’s overlooked. I hope one day soon she’s given the chance to take on clients because she has all the qualities of a great stylist.

Pathetic service
Very bad after service I had a hair treatment, colour, wash and blow done in April 2025. They offered me a gift, shampoo and a voucher and verbally said 7 must come the following week. Unfortunately I had an unforseen circumstances and called them to say I can't make it. The lady that I spoke to when I canceled said I can come when I am ready. Today I called to use my voucher they brutally told me I forfeited the voucher. Nobody ever told me there was a limited time on the voucher. The receptionist kept me on hold for so long. When the manager came to the phone the call was cut off due to my airtime being used and nobody called me back

Shocking !
Carlton hair needs a new Manager. Catherine is rude and unprofessional and should nor be a hairdresser. She has no idea how to cut hair ! I landed up having to go to a new hairdresser who couldn't believe what Catherine did to my hair. Not only I need.Did she wreck my hair?She couldn't care that I was upset and got up once.I told her I was upset and spoke about me to the other work colleague in front of me.And was exceptionally rude how unprofessional. She is a disgrace to the industry !

Shocking !
Carlton hair needs a new Manager. Catherine is rude and unprofessional and should nor be a hairdresser. She has no idea how to cut hair !
