The heating pad works well but it had an "Instruction Manual" which seemed more to be a backside covering document. It went into great detail on how to operate the heating pad which in fact was relatively simple and intuitive and had pages of what not to do, all of which were common sense. It has a timing circuit which turns the pad off after a certain time. It gave no information on how long the circuit left the pad on for and what to do when it had cut the heating pad power. I tried to find a contact number on the web and ended in non informative pages. Wynberg Pharmacy where I bought it could give no detail but had a cell phone number to ring which would have cost me. A web page had an Elektra technician who wanted $5 to give me detail.
