I have to say there is a lot of dealers to choose from on there website I did not even know that there is this many car dealerships out there. I was able to make an informed decision about what dealership I wanted to buy a second hand car from.

I bought a vehicle advertised through Cars.co.za, trusting their platform to feature reliable dealers. Soon after the purchase, the car developed serious engine issues, and the dealer stopped responding completely. When I reported this to Cars.co.za, I was referred to their terms and conditions instead of receiving real assistance. This left me feeling unprotected and disappointed. Cars.co.za should do more to vet dealerships and support buyers who encounter dishonest sellers listed on their site.

Bought a car, after seeing and adverti*****t on cars.co.za. The information on the advertisment was not correct: 1. Kilometer difference of almost 3 000 km 2. Condition of car was not correct. Told only mark that could be polished out, had more than 30 marks, that could not be polished out. 3. Full Service History, which is still in dispute. After bringing this under the attention of Cars.co.za was simply being told, read the terms and conditions, they can't be held responsible, if the advertised information is not correct.

I purchased a 2019 Ford Kuga through a dealer advertising on Cars.co.za (Fynatic Cars Benoni). The car was advertised as being in “excellent condition,” but within 24 hours the engine showed serious faults and was later confirmed by Ford to be full of water and damaged. Paperwork was irregular, the license disc expired, and the dealer has ignored all attempts at resolution. Cars.co.za should take responsibility for the dealers they allow on their platform. I contacted cars.co.za, they requested for details of the whole transaction and proof of which I did provide, all they did was.. they outlined to me their Terms and Conditions 6.2 and 6.3 via email, then wished me then best. Very unhappy with this experience and would not recommend

What a complete and utter waste of money and time! I registered and paid R569 in good faith, thinking that it would give my ad a competitive advantage, in the hopes that I would sell my Toyota Hilux quickly. I received zero inquiries, from 20 January until today 12 February 2025. Not even one.... As a matter of interest - I also advertised on Facebook market place for much cheaper and had an average of 8x inquiries per day. The vehicle was sold after the second day on facebook market place.
