DO NOT BOOK CASALINGA FOR YOUR WEDDING!!!! We had the most horrendous wedding experience with Casalinga Organic Farm. We paid upfront per person for our wedding food. The menu included starters whereby guests could choose an option and get 3 small plates per option chosen (mini platter). We had even paid for a food tasting (before the wedding date) whereby the food provided to us would be food for our wedding day. On the evening of the wedding (4 December 2021), guests did not receive the 3 plates. Instead, they received one plate of the mini platter. Guests complained to us after the wedding that the menu (which is Casalinga's event menu) did not materialize. I.e. they did not receive all the platters. Instead, they received a tiny plate as starters. The last thing you want is your guests leaving hungry. Casalinga has refused to take accountability for this. They have not refunded us and refused this even though all our guests can vouch as witnesses. We have been waiting 8 months for this to be resolved. I am disgusted by this type of "service". If you are considering using Casalinga as your wedding venue - please look elsewhere!

The level of disrespect, disregard, a hatred, and racism Recieved was very heart breaking, so I contacted Tynille some time in September to make queries about hosting of events and requested to use thier forest space, my event was this past weekend 6th November, and the way thy treated us was so inhumane, we agreed Friday night or even before that Monday was there she referred us to speak to se guy agreed that since we the host should b at venue by 8am. 8am my colleagues arrive there, only to b ignored n told that thy send me a whatsaap message to tell me that thy will delay, thy stood her there fr more than 2hrs, n later to put her in a spot outside the forest, gave her dirty plastic chairs we use for funerals at rural areas, broken tables n dirty table clothes, on the day that we were hosting as if we were not stressed enough by obout wether things will go accordingly or not, so my colleagues fought with them for good 2hrs till thy change chairs n lft her there unattended till 11th hour while all our guests had arrived, late at 13 thy start to set up. The story is long but I will cut it here. Our guests think we are disorganized chancers who do not know what thy are doing all because of people who told themselves they Wil delay us deliberately. Tynille does not act like an event manager at all n her hatred for black people is beyond. My colleagues were told by one of the staff there that there are lots n lots of better chairs in the farm better than what thy have given us, that's when she started to fight the to give us better chairs.

on mother day ,35 min waiting for beverage ,1h15 for the starter ,main course 1h20 later ,reservation was for 1pm ,left at 4pm without receiving dessert ,the restaurant wont see us again ,paid R3000 to reserve ,
