My son studies at centurion Akademie Akademie from 2019 until 2022. That was during COVID and it was a trying time for everyone. I am a single mother (no financial support from the father) and having to pay the fees was difficult but necessary to give my son a future. I have not received his final certificate and after numerous excuses like the department have not send it, it needs to signed off etc I received an email TODAY that I owe them R9500 and I need to pay before I get fetch my sons certificate. I have the FINAL account the I received showing I owe them R0.00. As a tertiary institution that is suppose to teach our children accounting, I find it shocking that they cannot even keep their own books. So my advice, avoid sending your child. They are going the same route as Damelin.

Absolute worst place to study, I do not recomend this institution to anyone. We went in on an open day and was happy to hear about a discount if you paid in full on Black Friday, We were told this is the total cost for the course. We took a 2 year course and paid up front, we find out this year that the charge is the same for this year also R 40 000.00 for an ECD course in a **** pour school who dont know their ass from their elbow!! The propectus doesnt even mention anything about the cost per year ! Had we known this we woulda went to Unisa They pull you in with lies then trap you, I'm taking them to court.

Their marketing, finance department, management and client service are pathetic. Misleading us from the beginning last year in October 2020. As the name, Centurion Akademie, they told is it will be in afrikaans. They did not exlained what the subjects involved Anatomy, in english, and we are afrikaans. My son has learning dissability and all the proof were send to them. He started in January this year, 2021, and could not manage with the study in English. We paid upfront last year for all the fees for this year. In March when we told them, that he struggle and because of the english he thought he made the wrong choice, only because of the english and the subject Anatomy. They refuse to refund us, even only part of the nearly R60,000.00 we paid last year for his studies for 2021. That exclude all his text book. We, as his parents struggle financially, due to job losses and me with a disability, and they have no idea, and we are just another case that they make money from. They should be ashame of them as a institution to help students as well be an good excample for students. Everyone is complaining, student included, as how they operate overall. I send numerous emails, but with no success.
