Patients were not served dinner 14 May 2026

South African Health is beyond broken

My uncle was admitted a couple of days ago. We called this evening to find out how he is doing, we found out he is hungry.they did not give them for tonight. He is critical, in pain and now he has to deal with hunger. Why didnt they inform us that they wont be serving dinner. We stay far from the hospital,so we cant just drive there. I am so disappointed. Our public health service in south africa is horrible.
