Garage waterproofing
Sadly, it did not go well with the leak in my garage roof. The roof was partly replaced but continued to leak and was “repaired” but never fixed. It leaked every time it rained. I have just had my roof replaced by another company who said the workmanship was amateur and 100% non compliant! Would not recommend for waterproofing.

Avoid at all costs. Bitterly disappointing experience
We invited Rian Willemse into our home with great expectations. He is unable to manage a team and deliver a quality experience. His team were unsupervised, despite promises that he would have a supervisor on duty. His team did not cover furniture with drop sheets as promised, and it was only done when we complained. No supervision was in place. We returned home one day to find concrete being flung around a room, and splashed across furniture, art, and carpets. We found one of his most trusty employees smoking drugs on our property. We paid for his final services one month ago and still wait to hear back on the when our snag list is going to be addressed, but frankly, perhaps it is better that he never returns to our property. Despite Rians' attempt to remedy our complaints, he was ineffective in both that and managing his workmen. Bitterly disappointed. Avoid at all costs.

Bad service
Chris Willemse Painters painted our complex and they are the worse painters ever... They had a lot of promises when we initially saw took them on.. however after, they did a substandard job, the paint started peeling before they finished and they had so many things to say about why they didn't have to honor their guarantee.. DONT use this company

Bad service
Chris Willemse Painters painted our complex and they are the worse painters ever... They had a lot of promises when we initially saw took them on.. however after, they did a substandard job, the paint started peeling before they finished and they had so many things to say about why they didn't have to honor their guarantee.. DONT use this company

Atrocious work done by Chris Willemse Painters
I am totally disgusted with the quality of paint work done to our house by Chris Willemse painters. I had mentioned to Mr Willemse, that the preparation of the walls was very important and he informed me that his painters knew what to do as they had done this work before. The two painters, who came to do the work, arrived every morning after 9 am and would leave at 3 pm to go home. There was no supervision and they did not have the necessary tools for the job. The broom was broken, they had no dust pan, no rags to clean up paint that dripped onto the wooden areas and the floor and no black bags to discard the dirt in. The drains were not covered while the prepping was being done and so all the debris clogged up the drains. When I mentioned this to Mr Willemse, he stated that they never cover the drains. They also threw left over paint into the outside kitchen drain and I was told they do this at every job. On the second day I could see that the two painters did not do the prepping properly and I contacted Mr Willemse, who then came to the house to inspect the work being done. He spoke to the painters, but nothing changed. There was still no proper supervision and I took it upon myself to check with the painters what they were going to do each day and I checked every few hours and showed them where they had slipped up. They worked all over the house and no proper system was followed. They kept on forgetting walls that still needed prepping and forgot wood that needed to be varnished. The varnishing work was catastrophic, with varnish splashed over the edges and onto the walls. When I queried this, I was told that the final paint would cover all the varnish that was on the walls. They were quick to ask for the payments, but after many emails to them complaining about the shoddy work, I refused to pay the next payment, which would have meant that they had received 90% for work that was not even 50% finished. I contacted Mr Willemse and asked for a meeting with him at the premises so that we could discuss this matter, but he refused and I was told to stop meddling in the work and to leave his painters to do the work and not to complain all the time and get involved. After my refusing to make the next payment until I had a meeting with Mr Willemse, a truck arrived and they loaded up all their goods and left the premises with the paintwork unfinished. Their attitude was atrocious and they were very rude and unprofessional in handling this whole matter and I will definitely never refer them to anybody.

Just don't: Lack of professionalism, supervision and pride in work
I was charged a lot of money for sub standard service. There was no supervision until the moment they finished and I asked that someone walk through and check the work. Crack started showing a few months later. I have paint chipping in places less than a year later. The one painter sort of cleaned the tiles outside my kitchen door after we had to ask that they clean up their mess. After having sort of cleaned it there were still marks and my wife was told it will come off with soup. Meaning she must clean it. They arrived early in the mornings while we were still having breakfast, without proper equipment and would just sit there waiting. They left before 3pm each day and tried leaving at 11am on the last day. There are many 'hidden' spots that weren't painted. The owner apologised after I complained and came to the house with a worker to fix some of the shoddy workmanship. It was a little rainy so they left and never returned to finish up.

Previous complaint re Soffits with fungi
Chris Willemse Painters redid the job and so far the fungi has not re-appeared. It did take quite a long time before it was fixed, but they fixed it and for that I am grateful.<br> Thanks Chris Willemse.
