Don't use this company

Absolutely terrible experience with this company. I just hired a carpet cleaning machine from my local Spar, took it home, followed all the instructions, but the thing didn't work. On the way back to the Spar to go exchange it, I decided to check if I can get someone to come and clean my carpet instead. I found someone that would do it for less than the machine cost me to hire.

A supervisor at Spar puts me on the phone with an employee from Cleaning Clinic (I'm very tempted to name her but for now I won't). I ask for a refund and she tells me they have a no refund policy. What needs to happen is someone has to come to me and assess the machine and then who knows what. I don't have time for this as we have furniture arriving tomorrow that has to go in the room where the dirty carpet is.

I start getting irritated because she keeps saying there's no refund policy, even though it DOESN'T SAY THAT ON THE FORM I FILLED IN, and then she goes on to tell me she can't help it if I want to have a hissy fit!

End of story, I put the phone down and walked out R499 poorer.
