Calling all BMW Enthusiast and lovers to stay away from this mess
Ooh my gosh guys please stay aways from this dealership. Really, really bad service. I took my F30 328i there for service, I have topped up coolant a few times in the last 6 months which I have never had to do in 5 years of owning this car. When I got there the service advisor asked me if there is anything I would like them to check when they did the requested service. I told him about the coolant top ups. Later that they I got a quote from them which I did not accept. The I went in later in the afternoon to collect my car. I was told it was in for testing. After 2 hours of waiting I was told the car was not ready and I must come back the following day. When I did come back I had to wait again. Eventually after I got the car, I drove for about 5KM and the coolant warning came on. As soon as I got to where I was going I checked and found that the coolant was over filled. As if that was not enough a Club Motors Fountains sticker was affixed on my car without my approval. I have had this car in and out of dealerships for over 5 years and never have any dealership feel the entitlement to affix a sticker on my car. Please guys do stay away. As I was waiting for the car on the first day I saw 2 women also complaining that they have never received such bad service. I am taking my car to another dealership for fixing their mess.

18 Nov 2019, 08:17Its now Monday no one has been in tough yet. Anyways over the weekend the Coolant warning came on every time I switched the ignition on and off. With the coolant still being to the max limit as per the expansion tank markings. After a few moments of googling, I checked all the potential problem areas for coolant leaks for any visible signs. Absolutely nada. I have had very old cars before and of course I know how to check for this things. After a while I suspected the sensor itself. I then went ahead and pulled the sensor connector from underneath the expansion tank. To my surprise the connector was super wet on the inside. I checked for any coolant leaks around that and there was nothing. I used a vacuum cleaner and a hair dryer to dry the connector and after a few hours plugged it in again and viola, the coolant warning disappeared. So whoever the amateur mechanic worked on my car spilled coolant on the sensor and never dried it. They wanted me to replace the entire cooling system just for that. I will replace the cooling system at some point but not at the advice of the amateurs at Club Motors Fountains. Like I said stay away. If you do not have any self diagnosis experience and the time to fix their mess for yourself like me, rather go get the assistance of experts at other dealerships. The saddest part is that they made me pay extra for that poor workmanship. MXM!!!
