I am writing to express my frustration with Compeg Property Management regarding their handling of my property at Greenacres, Turfontein West. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory.
It appears that Compeg is not committed to resolving issues, as I have not received responses to my emails. I have been billed for amounts I have already paid, and I am now facing interest charges on these amounts, while Compeg is simultaneously earning interest on the same funds sitting in their account.
The portfolio manager mentioned that they have hundreds, if not thousands, of unallocated deposits due to everyone paying into the same account. This situation is simply unacceptable. If Compeg genuinely wanted to assist, they could easily communicate with their banking partners to obtain depositor details, which would allow them to allocate the paid amounts correctly. Instead they insist that I provide confirmation of deposit which I no longer possess, although the caretaker and Trustees had sight at one point of the deposit slips and were satisfied that payment was made.
