Tried to take me for a ride ,

R680 to collect a POS machine ...I saw your connect net con coming.... Capitec collects for FREE , YES FREEEEEEEEE ....Unethical behaviour , rude consultants.......... Disgraceful behaviour , for a company that says that their business has proudly grown 40% over the past few year ....this is thanks to your CUSTOMERS support & revenue , nothing thanks to your shocking customer service or your pathetic effects to steal money from your customers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A ConnectNet contract was signed on 08/01/2014 agreeing to ConnectNet’s Terms and Conditions. Point 9 of the signed agreement stipulates “the customer shall return all Devices to ConnectNet within 7 days from date of such termination”. The customer can return the equipment at own cost or ConnectNet can collect at a quoted cost. The customer has the option to choose how to return said devices. Capitec collected the equipment on behalf of ConnectNet and no recovery fee was charged to the account. There was however an unpaid debit order for April which was followed up and only settled in May. Normal standard procedures were followed and ConnectNet now deems the account closed and finalised.
Best regards,

Your T&C's are against the Consumer protection act & can be challanged as such. R680 to collect a POS machine , I would like to see the justification or a breakdown of how that fee is calculated. Capitec collects the same machine for FREE , so once again , UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES & UNETHICAL FEES BY CONNECT NET CONMEN !!!!
To anyone reading this stay away from CONNECT NET , there are much cheaper technologically advanced & much more ethical companies that can assist you with your POS requirements. I will be laying a complaint with Capitec , to advise them to cut ties with unethical CONNECT NET.

ConnectNet is a Telecommunication’s Company that provides communication between a customer’s POS terminal and their bank. The installed unit facilitates the POS terminal to transact. ConnectNet does not provide POS terminals to the consumers. ConnectNet’s Terms and Conditions do comply with the Consumer Protection Act. A standard cancellation letter informing our customers the process of cancellation was sent to you giving the option to return the property to ConnectNet or an option for ConnectNet to collect the equipment at a cost. ConnectNet reiterates that you were not billed for the return of the equipment as Capitec recovered the equipment for and on behalf of ConnectNet. Kindly provide us with the proof that you were invoiced and ConnectNet will action a refund.

You continue to try to justify your UNETHICAL BEHAVIOUR & FEES.
Put customer service & ethical business practices first & perhaps you would get positive comments instead of BAD reviews.
CONNECT NET IS A BAD COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. STAY AWAY POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.
PS : I am still waiting for your justification & breakdown of the R680 fee to collect The POS equipment from your customers..... , dont try to tell me that it is part of your T & C's.
Just provide the details to CONVINCE everyone that this is a fair collection fee.
