I shopped at few Continental Linen in Gauteng (Pretoria) i always received best service hence i keep going back for more and referring my family and friends. I bought few things on line on black Friday, when i received my order it was one box and i knew something was missing because i had bought 2 Duvet inner, one double and one queen, me queen was missing. I sent and email and it was attended to immediately and they arranged that i go to my nearest store to get an inner. I was assisted by Armanelle , she is a star. I went to the store in Centurion Lifestyle was assisted by Fadiaah another star.

I bought a light blanket from Continental Linen at Benmore Gardens Shopping Mall in Sandton - a while ago, couple of months ago. It claimed to be 80% wool. I wanted it for my lap when watching TV on cold nights. It gave off a lot of fluff which clung to my clothes and which I often fished out of my mouth when I ate something. I was forever brushing fluff off my jackets before I went out. Thinking it may just be surface residue, I decided to wash it. However, it made no difference. Finally I decided to return it for a refund. I took along with me a "contaminated" jacket as evidence. Firstly, I was told that I should have returned it within 30 days of purchase which had expired by a week. When asked if I'd washed I confirmed I had, the main reason being as explained above. The shop assistant went off to have a long conversation about it with her Area Manager, she said. Upon returning, she said they were not going to refund me because of the 30 day rule and because I'd washed it. There was very obviously a problem with the blanket. The fluff on the jacket I'd brought with me was glaring evidence. I left the shop and left the blanket there, and without the refund which was just under R200. From the shop. I'd recently bought 2 sets of towels, a duvet set and a doormat. The blanket was not a once off purchase. That didn't mean anything to these people. I told them I'd not be buying anything from their shop again. I anticipate that someone will answer this with a "sincere" apology but repeat "the rules". An apology is of no use to me. I still have the invoice. A refund is in order if Continental Linen IS sincere about anything.

Searched online for all products last night, went in store today to purchase new crockery, cushions, bathroom towels and Matts. Very difficult to judge size from website so sent my husband a picture to confirm if he was happy with the sizing. He runs his own business he doesn’t have time for video calls. Michelle very rudely stopped me from taking a picture of one of the many products I was going to purchase. She is customer facing and has absolutely zero customer skills. I refuse to be spoken to like a child and further to this not being able to take a picture of an item in store is nonsense. Anyone can screen shot off the internet and get a pictures of the product so that’s not an excuse. Redoing our new home, sorry you won’t get my business id rather spend our money else where - where staff are friendly and I can show my husband so we can make a joint decision. Never again, Michelle should not be customer facing she needs to work on customer care skills.

I have been buying things for an Airbnb, I bought things over R10k between Jan and Feb. On the 21st of Feb I bought two duvet inners and covers for king size. I threw away the packaging after fitting them to each other but sadly the at Douglas dale branch refused for me to exchange for a bigger size although they had never been used and I explained that after I exchange I will leave the covers for them. Am very disappointed in the customer treatment cause I was referred there after someone had managed to return even without packaging.

I purchased for the 1st time online an order from Continental Linen /Whitehouse. I ordered a range of colours of hand towels and bath mats. I elected to collect the oder from their retail store in Bedford Shopping Centre as they wanted a ridiculous spend amount before they agreed to deliver for free. It took approximately 10 days to get the order to the shop only after i complained numerous times as to how long it was taking. I collected my order which was wrapped in a cardboard box- my mistake was that I did not open it to check my order. When I got home and opened it I immediately saw that my order was incorrect- it was all white hand towels and all the same colour of bath mats. I at once sent an e mail to Customer support telling them of this mistake and requesting that they uplift and arrange to deliver my correct order to my home- I refused to take it back to Bedford- I am about 12 kms away from the shop each way. They firstly responded that it was my mistake as that was what I ordered and secondly they would charge me R190 to uplift the incorrect order and redeliver the correct one, or take it back to Bedford Centre. I refused this and insisted that this was their problem and that they must make it right. They refused. I then asked them if I can return the order to any of their shops and they confirmed that i could do so. I went to their factory shop in Wynberg JHB only to be told that I was unable to return it there as they do not do returns. I explained that I simply wanted to change what I had for different colours. They refused When I threatened them that I would place this issue on Hello Peter, the manageress called someone and eventually she agreed to change the order. I feel that I was teated very badly by their customer care division and that they should have done anything to rectify their mistake. I know that they will respond by saying that it was my fault but I am not stupid - I did not order 10 hand towels in the same colour. I am now and ex customer and will never buy Online rom them again. Very poor customer service. By the way I asked the person who was responding to my e mails for his/her name and I am still waiting for that information over a day later
