Very good and reliable service. I appreciate that they came to my residence to replace the battery, and arrived punctually at the arranged time. I've dealt with Barry before so this is not a once off experience. Nice people.
I bought a light blanket from Continental Linen at Benmore Gardens Shopping Mall in Sandton - a while ago, couple of months ago. It claimed to be 80% wool. I wanted it for my lap when watching TV on cold nights. It gave off a lot of fluff which clung to my clothes and which I often fished out of my mouth when I ate something. I was forever brushing fluff off my jackets before I went out. Thinking it may just be surface residue, I decided to wash it. However, it made no difference. Finally I decided to return it for a refund. I took along with me a "contaminated" jacket as evidence. Firstly, I was told that I should have returned it within 30 days of purchase which had expired by a week. When asked if I'd washed I confirmed I had, the main reason being as explained above. The shop assistant went off to have a long conversation about it with her Area Manager, she said. Upon returning, she said they were not going to refund me because of the 30 day rule and because I'd washed it. There was very obviously a problem with the blanket. The fluff on the jacket I'd brought with me was glaring evidence. I left the shop and left the blanket there, and without the refund which was just under R200. From the shop. I'd recently bought 2 sets of towels, a duvet set and a doormat. The blanket was not a once off purchase. That didn't mean anything to these people. I told them I'd not be buying anything from their shop again. I anticipate that someone will answer this with a "sincere" apology but repeat "the rules". An apology is of no use to me. I still have the invoice. A refund is in order if Continental Linen IS sincere about anything.
I had two requests which were both dealt with immediately and to my satisfaction. The young lady who assisted me was polite, friendly and warm, competent and efficient. She gave me excellent service. I've been with MiWay for many years and it's because of this high standard of service that I stay year after year. Thank you.
In addition to their losing the feet of my TV and my having to replace them at a cost of R1200, and 3 ripped curtains, there is a deep gash down to the metal on the side of my washing machine! pilfering occurred: WiFi router and charger Pen and push pencil that were on my desk. 8 cakes of soap Toilet rolls are missing. Man named Freedom had access to these items. Freedom used mý pen to mark boxes and pocketed it! Freedom also was the last seen with the TV feet in his hands! The attitude of the manager, man named Abel, was rude and unapologetic. He actually said in the WhatsApp, "I don't know what you're up to."
Do NOT use Mega Shift Logistics. Dakalo, my liaison with the company, doesn't return my messages. Abel, said manager, likewise. I have a missing box, missing feet for my TV, 3 ripped curtains. The arrangement was that they pack my stuff and unpack it on the other side. After arranging for 30 boxes, they arrived without any. I had to run around supermarkets collecting empty boxes. They packed but left things behind in the kitchen in cupboards. Then I was told they were not going to unpack for me! Furniture and boxes were just dumped everywhere. Boxes marked kitchen were found in the garage. My lounge curtains, dry cleaned at some expense 6 month's ago, were dumped on the garage floor wrapped in a terylene curtain! Terylene is a delicate fabric! 3 terylenes were used in this fashion, another with heavy bedroom curtains, another with a large, heavy duvet in it. All 3 terylenes are ripped! A bedroom cupboard was dumped in the lounge. They said it wouldn't fit into the bedroom - a lie. It's now standing in the bedroom. Other reviews report similar things including theft! See Facebook for some of them. Theft is high on the list in the reviews.
The agent I dealt with was Adam Hedayath. I needed a quote for car insurance. He was polite, friendly and professional. He was patient and easy to talk to. It was a fun process. He was also not long winded. Additionally, I was more than satisfied with the quote from Pineapple which I accepted.
Been dealing with Bond Stationers for a community entity for 6 years. Additionally, I have bought four HP cartridges for my HP printer at home. The first two lasted a very long time, around a year each.

Recently, l bought one which dried up after two months. CYNTHIA BOND outright blamed my printer. She would not replace it before HP in Midrand weighed it. HP gave the all clear for its replacement. CYNTHIA BOND told me that for one cartridge, I was too much trouble.

Two months later, the replacement dried out. CYNTHIA BOND again blamed my printer and the volume of printing - conjecture and neither true. I emailed Cynthia Bond several times for feedback. She took two weeks to contact HP who again gave the all clear to replace the cartridge. I demanded a refund. She asked for my banking details but wanted proof from my bank! Three weeks later, no refund. I sent several emails and left as many phone messages - no answer. Finally, I got her on the phone to have her tell me again how much trouble I was and blaming me for problem, said the dud cartridges were not her problem. Yesterday, I recd the refund R499 instead of R517.56 - IN980478, 9 Oct, which she refuted.
