Based on recent customer reviews, Mega Shift Logistics delivers a polarised experience. Many customers praise affordable pricing, friendly ground crews, and standout consultants like Goodness, Dakalo, Thembi, and Desiree. Mega Shift Logistics's biggest strength, according to Hellopeter's AI analysis, is Pricing, Billing & Refunds. Customers frequently highlight Mega Shift's competitive and affordable rates as a key reason for choosing them. Quotes are generally quick. However trust is undermined by mid-move price revisions, surprise shuttle and wrap fees, and slow or denied refunds when disputes arise.

I booked Megashift Logistics on 30 April for a next-day move. Short notice acknowledged — but it does not explain what followed. The quotation was slow to arrive for a straightforward job. When it did, it stipulated a 50% deposit. I paid immediately. Shortly after, I received a call from Desiree requesting full payment upfront — a condition that appeared nowhere in the quotation or contract. I paid to secure the booking, but this was the first indicator that their administrative processes are not well-controlled. The more serious failure came just before the 14:00 scheduled arrival. Desiree again called to inform me that the quotation she sent me was undercharged — and that the truck would now arrive at 15:00. A pricing discrepancy of this nature, surfaced on the afternoon of the move, reflects a basic failure in quoting verification and booking sign-off. After much to-and-fro with her, Tendai, who is her team leader also stepped in to force my hand to agreeing to their newly established terms. With significant funds already committed and no realistic alternative, I accepted the revised amount under obvious duress. The truck eventually arrived at 16:45 — two hours and forty-five minutes after the original booking time. Every substantive failure on this day — the unilateral change to payment terms, the post-booking pricing correction, and the compounding delays — originated from the administrative handling by Desiree and Tendai. Whether these reflect individual competence gaps, inadequate training, or poor internal systems, the customer bears the consequences either way. What should have been a stressful but manageable moving day became an unnecessarily drawn-out dispute driven entirely by their team's errors. The movers on the ground were a different story — courteous, and efficient once they arrived. They are not the issue. (4/5 for the ground team) Megashift's administration needs serious attention. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them at all

I wasn’t there personally when the move occurred but they were punctual and surprisingly no breakages. I was not pleased that a few items were left behind abd their extra bubble wrap is expensive

They have excellent service and affordable prices. They're efficient and careful with your goods. I've used them for Long distance as well as short distance and have received both the best prices and quality service every time.

Frontline consultants such as Goodness, Dakalo, Thembi, and Desiree receive consistent praise for warmth and responsiveness.
