Less then desirable service.
We contacted them to move our goods from Durban to CPT, they first misquoted us only to have the movers come with a different qoute.They collected the furniture on the 27th February 2026,told us they would arrive in CPT by the 1st, March 2026, we were the ones who kept calling for follow ups.Then on the 13th March 2026, someone called us to notify that our furniture will be in CPT the next day,only they won't deliver as we are in a high risk area.Now we have been told they will deliver at a nearby mall and we should make arrangements to collect.When we ask why we were not informed when qouted about this area being high risk and how we will be compensated as we will need to pay for delivery after we paid them, Caleb tells us about how insurance will not cover if they come.Nobody was coming up with solutions, all we were getting was that we will have to pay more, nobody spoke of compensation or prorated rates for the delivery.Had we been informed prior, when we were being quoted it would have been a different story all together, as we would have made arrangements or used a different company all together.

My experiences with Mega Shift was alright, communication was good but there were a lot of misunderstandings about the service that we ordered And the door was scratched by the movers that made take on more expenses for the apartment repairs

I had a wonderful experience with Megashift
I had a wonderful experience with Megashift. My furniture was transported from Pretoria to Cape Town and arrived within 7 days as promised. A special thank you to Emmanuel, the Operational Manager in Johannesburg. He was incredibly kind, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process. My furniture arrived safely, intact, and well wrapped, showing the great care the team takes with their clients’ belongings. The driver and the offloading staff were also very kind, patient, and understanding, which made the delivery smooth and pleasant.

Disappointing Relocation Experience
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with how relocation from Cape Town to Johannesburg has been handled. Furniture was collected on Saturday, 28 February 2026, and I was informed that delivery would take place within 7 working days. However, only after following up this evening was I told that delivery may now only happen later this week, with Friday being the latest. At no stage was this delay communicated to me in advance. Relocating between cities is already disruptive, and being left without furniture for an extended and uncertain period has caused significant inconvenience. I would have expected better communication and transparency.

Staff stole my property now they want to return but still didn't deliver
After I posted an update on my stole property the Cape Town branch called literally few minute after I posted to "arrange delivery for today around 15:00" i said ohk knowing that they will not deliver and guess what, never called again and no delivery that time I waited for them again. And they removed my earlier post
