The lack of service has definitely increased this year. We had experienced a lot of problems with Converged Group, from hosting, to the phones continuously going down to IP address conflicts. We recently had fibre installed. After this was in place, the phones were down, which was understandable because the VOIP had to be re-configured due to the new IP address in place. I had contacted the team who came on site to reset the system. Unfortunately after some time, the phones had stopped working again. When we contacted the technical support team, the technician advised that when they came on site to change the IP address, this was only a temporary fix and not a permanent fix. In order for them to come on site again, we will have to pay another call out fee plus cables. This is truly unacceptable, after being with this company for years, we just don’t seem to receive good customer service. We have therefore decided to cancel our services with Converged Group.

Further to the above. I would just like to add that we have requested for our three ported numbers to be diverted to our new contact number. Converged then advised that in order for this, we will have to pay the outbound fees for every call although we will not use their company services. These numbers were ported from Telkom ever since we starting going through Converged Group. Unfortunately my company has lost a lot of business due to this. Furthermore this had to result in us sending out newsletters (at our own costs) to our clients and readers to advertise our alternative numbers.
