I submitted a simple transaction instruction. The whole process was very poorly handled by their staff and in addition I received a flood of eighteen, yes eighteen SMSs generated by their system. When I queried this I was told that is the way it is and will be. The CEO doesn't take calls from his clients.

Needed to make a withdrawal of investment in Coronation unit trusts; easy to log in with username and password; confirmation via OTP. Took about 2 minutes, instruction acknowledged with reference number. In sharp contrast with Nedbank who I reviewed a little earlier & have made no progress due to a useless website

There is NO client service as far as I am concerned. When you log out of your profile as a client on their web page, they ask for feedback. Once submitted, you get the message "thank you for your feedback - we value it". Please remove that as it is a lie because they NEVER react/answer you as a client. Allan Gray is in my opinion and experience the absolute BEST unit trust service provider. The service from AG is superb! Shame on you Coronation - and you keep on charging fees?

Coronation does not allow clients to retire from one retirement fund and leave another retirement fund to grow. It's all or nothing, restricting clients' options on retirement. They ONLY tell you this when you try to retire - NOT when you transfer funds to them from another financial service provider. Don't make this mistake - rather go straight to Allan Gray (or anyone else), who do follow the law and allow clients to exercise their rights in this regard.
