BIG SCAM OF FRANCIS SMIT OF COSY CABINS
I can not give it a star because it doesn`t deserve any!! Francis took R250 000 in 2020 to build me a logcabin in Pearly Beach , and after a lot of excuses and then disappearance of him I am left with nothing, neither cabin or my money. Please be aware of him.!!!!!!!!!

Francis from Cosy Cabins is a fraud
Francis from Cosy Cabins is a thief! I see their website has been closed down. I paid a deposit of R10,000 (Thankfully not more than that) as a show of good faith that I will be using them. After reading these comments on Hellopeter I decided not to use Cosy Cabins. Since I told him that he has ignored all my messages, does not answer his phone and is impossible to reach. Do Not use this company!!

Thief! after requesting 60% deposit and paying over, Francis had every excuse in the book. Francis contacted me on WhatsApp to provide a list of excuses why he could not deliver. After the last excuse, I have not heard from him again, despite numerous message on WhatsApp, voicemail and email. To date, he has not responded to any email, phone call or WhatsApp message. I eventually decided to cut my losses and go with another company who delivered my Wendy within one week. Only regret I have is not checking HelloPeter before deciding to go with Francis of Cosy Cabins! Based on the comments in Hello Peter, this is a standard practice of Cosy Cabins. Watch out people, you will be scammed by this con artist!

Cosy cabin scam
Francis and partner Jimmy took my 60% deposit in February 2019. After months of excuses they eventually pitched up at the location with a few poles and insisted on the additiomal 25%. I paid that and that was it. No more materials, he‘s not even paying his people‘s salaries. He has not taken my call in 2 weeks. Stay away!!!

Cosy Cabins are Criminals and thieves
Francis Smith from Cosy Cabins Pretoria has stolen money from me by not completing my house he build payed him 200k to build and he used ceiling wood to do my flooring when i asked him why he was using ceiling wood he said it was the norm. he is a criminal 2 face thief he will steel your money he uses the next jobs money to finish the previous jobs if anybody can give me his home address in Pretoria it will be appreciated contact me on 0720834018

Do not use this company to build your cabins; they are slow and useless and take absolutely no responsibility for their shabby workmanship. Its all a big 'oh well' to them. Every single day, from day one, was a nightmare.</p>

Cosy Cabins not so cosy
<p> </p> <p>On 19th of September 2016 cosy cabins were contracted to built, install and complete an exclusive bush cabin, however due to poor workmanship and lack of supervisionthe said cabin is faultyand cannot be utilized for purposes intended due to major structural defects caused by cosy cabin.</p> <p>The cabins are furthermore hazardous and impose serious risk of injury . </p> <p>On the start date cosy cabn were meant to arrive at 08h00 the morning they failed and only arrived at 16h00 without proper equipment nor tools.</p> <p>After months of trying to convince cosy cabins to complete the wok they to date failed to do so. They failed to seal the cabins with waxol seal and also failed to install the polytherm between the walls as a result of their failure with the first rain the cabins were under water and sever damages were incurred. The matter has been handed over but to date they have failed to provide us with any response they have to date not completed the cabins for which they were already paid.</p> <p> They are utterly unproffesional and frauds</p>
