Thief! after requesting 60% deposit and paying over, Francis had every excuse in the book. Francis contacted me on WhatsApp to provide a list of excuses why he could not deliver. After the last excuse, I have not heard from him again, despite numerous message on WhatsApp, voicemail and email. To date, he has not responded to any email, phone call or WhatsApp message. I eventually decided to cut my losses and go with another company who delivered my Wendy within one week. Only regret I have is not checking HelloPeter before deciding to go with Francis of Cosy Cabins! Based on the comments in Hello Peter, this is a standard practice of Cosy Cabins. Watch out people, you will be scammed by this con artist!
Moved residential addresses (about 500m from the old one) same area and still covered by Vumatel. Sent CellC fibre an email as instructed, to ********** and ********** to have my service moved from the old address to the new address on 11 Jan 2019. No response received from CellC fibre. Then called about 2 weeks later to find out what was happening. Also informed them no correspondence received since the email was sent, and did they receive it. Response is yes. A couple of days later get response that it is in hand. Moved in to new place on 24th and still nothing happened. I phoned again, again wait for 5 - 10 minutes wasting my time and money, only to be told someone will get back to me. Called again the next day, and requested to speak to a manager after still no movement was made on the case. Spoke to a manager, Donovan Naicker from Durban who assured me he would follow up and report back to me before 10:30 that day. At around 12:00 i got a call from one of the call center agents informing me that Donovan was following up with the back office and someone would call me back that same day. This was the last time I heard from Donovan, and, no one called me back. ALL correspondence with Cfibre has been me calling them back! I have been back and forth with my last attempt requesting to speak to another manager, but was told they are on the phone (strange this was the second time this happened) and they would leave a message for the manager to call me. It is now past 20:00 on a Friday evening and still no one has called me back (just like the last time). Thankfully the previous owner gave me access to his Vumatel installation and his ISP until the 31st Jan. After 31st I now have no internet, but Cell C have deducted their monthly fee! Vumatel also advised that the CPE object had to be released by the previous ISP before Cell C Fibre could activate me. This has been done as the previous ISP deactivated the internet last night (31st). I have to ask the question, do Cell C fibre actually know what they are doing? other than frustrating their customers that is. Do they actually care? do they want the business? Their so called managers are even more unhelpful. At least the call center have some decent operators, Sanipile, being one outstanding agent and very helpful as far as she can. It seems Cell C fibre dont care once they have your money! Watch out people! Find another ISP if you wish to maintain your sanity. Cell C fibre are useless and lie when they say someone will get back to you! How can it possibly take soooo long to change a CPE object number?
