I took in my sneakers for a clean on the 30th of August 2023 at their San Ridge branch. I was told that it will take a typical of two days for them to be ready however after 4 days, I went to their branch and I was told that my shoes are still not ready with no particular reason as to why that is. This was oddly suspicious but I chose to stay patient. I finally received a text to come and pick up the shoes on the 6th of September 2023.
Upon picking up the shoes, I made the mistake of not doing a thorough check of the quality of the shoes. It was only on the 8th when I took the shoes out of the packaging and I wore them that I realized both the left and right pairs are torn. Now take into consideration that these are Fila sneakers which are made with really strong material and I have had them for two years and never experienced an issue.
When I went to show the people at the San Ridge branch, I was given a nonchalant response from them and they did not want to take responsibility. They told me the manager is overseas and the individual in charge (Vusi), hung up the phone while I was still busy talking to him and explaining the situation.
No one is willing to take responsibility and to explain why they kept the shoes for a week instead of the normal two days. They adopt a don't-care attitude when customers complain and the employees do not know how to handle queries because they choose to deflect.
I would recommend against using this company for your treasured items because they will not treat them with the respect or care that you would hope for.
