I took in my sneakers for a clean on the 30th of August 2023 at their San Ridge branch. I was told that it will take a typical of two days for them to be ready however after 4 days, I went to their branch and I was told that my shoes are still not ready with no particular reason as to why that is. This was oddly suspicious but I chose to stay patient. I finally received a text to come and pick up the shoes on the 6th of September 2023. Upon picking up the shoes, I made the mistake of not doing a thorough check of the quality of the shoes. It was only on the 8th when I took the shoes out of the packaging and I wore them that I realized both the left and right pairs are torn. Now take into consideration that these are Fila sneakers which are made with really strong material and I have had them for two years and never experienced an issue. When I went to show the people at the San Ridge branch, I was given a nonchalant response from them and they did not want to take responsibility. They told me the manager is overseas and the individual in charge (Vusi), hung up the phone while I was still busy talking to him and explaining the situation. No one is willing to take responsibility and to explain why they kept the shoes for a week instead of the normal two days. They adopt a don't-care attitude when customers complain and the employees do not know how to handle queries because they choose to deflect. I would recommend against using this company for your treasured items because they will not treat them with the respect or care that you would hope for.
The service from @MTNza is just appalling. No one is taking responsibility for a product that was ordered 3 weeks ago and up until today it is still not working and the call centre agents do nothing but take you from one rabbit hole to another! All this after they were hounding to make immediate and advanced payments for a product they were not prepared to provide! I am absolutely livid with their service! Why am I doing your job and calling your external service providers when you should be following up and making sure that the order is complete!? Disgusting man!
I would just like to say that you need to train your customer care operatives better. The experience I received from your agent by the name of Portia was horrible. Considering the fact that at one of your stores you’re having an issue with card payments and I am given attitude by your call centre agents when I reach to cancel an online order was really disgusting. There is no point in you having the multiple customer care lines if you’re not planning to effectively listen to your customers query, be patient enough to explain the possible solutions and assist a customer who is already clearly frustrated. I am livid at this experience and personally your staff does not seem to care about the experience they are giving your customers. Do better!
First of all, waiting time is a bit of a hassle but it’s not that huge of deal breaker. Today as customers we had to witness a disgruntled employee going around threatening his fellow colleagues and a customer, right in front of customers. He was going on a rampage and even went as far as to almost manhandled a female colleague. This, in an establishment where there were kids around created a very unsafe environment for us as customers to feel comfortable enough to get our haircuts. Management of this establishment need to do better with how the employees interact with each other and with how they treat customers. Unpleasant experience.
