worst date night ever with my hubby

<p>my hubby was away for two weeks in PE, and we made a deal to go to CTFM grandwest once he got back as we had previously remembered how much we enjoyed their mussel pot starter and their surf and turf meal. However to our dissapointment when we went there on saturday the 2/7/2016 the mussel starter was sooo dissapointing - not served in the potjie pot plus the sauce was sooo watery it was like we were eating soup. as for the tiny little bread we got - they were rock hard - not toasted it was hard like stale hard. gross!! then as for the surf and turf - i almost fell off my chair when my plate arrived - my steak was smaller than it has ever been, i do understand the meal serves a 200 gram but hell my steak was as small as a match box - as for my hubbys plate i could count on one hand how many chips he got with his meal - that goes the same for both our portions of calamari that was supposed to come with the meal. anyways we left after paying a hefty bill of R520 !! of which we only had one drink - we got home and still nibbled on chips and ****!! i think it was a discrace and absolutely horrible. how can you charge soo much for such tiny portions???? this place used to be our date night place - however this will be the one place that wont be seeing our faces again!!! absolutely dissapointed!!</p>
