Usually I would give this restaurant a five star rating. It's been one of our favorite restaurants for a long time. We frequent this restaurant..... literally!!! We bring all our guests from out of town here too. However, on the last few occasions, weve been rather disappointed and on the very last occasion, we had a bad experience, of which, to top it off, our complaints went ignored. That reeks of poor customer service. From cold food, to bad drinks, to unhelpful staff, to mediocre food, to not receiving condiments for our meals until the meals were practically finished, of which the last issue has been ongoing for some time now, which is rather off-putting. Stands to reason that the table should be supplied with garlic, chilies & parmesan cheese, especially if one has ordered pizzas, quesidillas and/or pastas. However, it's been common practice for the restaurant to avoid supplying those condiments. In the past, those would be furnished to the table, along with the crockery, as soon as the order was placed, therefore very much prior to receiving the meals. Nothing worse than begging staff several times for condiments which are fundamental to the dishes received,.only.to be ignored and put on hold (repeatedly) and indefinitely, while sitting with meals starring one in the face, getting cold. One either gives up and consumes the meal without those fundamental items..... certainly not the same and ruins the experience completely..Otherwise, one must get up and go and ask for the requirements at the counter, AGAIN and still wait indefinitely, only to receive them when the meal is practically finished, or finished. Clearly.there is a reluctancy to issue those condiments... perhaps to save costs? But is it worth losing patrons in the long run? I brought some guests from Durban for dinner a couple.of months back and they were so impressed with the Pinna Colladas, saying that they were the best they had ever had! We.had a merry eve of drinks galore and a table full of assorted foods, which we all thoroughly enjoyed..... I still ensured to tip the waiter 10% of my.hefty bill, as he truly.deserved it! Since then, our experiences at Cappuccinos have been on a steady decline. Brought a couple.of young doctors over a couple.of weeks ago and we were treated in an unwelcome manner.... the person seating us stated that there were no tables available on the deck, while I was looking at an available table, which I asked to be seated at. The waitress was rather impatient and a scatter brain ie unorganized & very unaccommodating. We all returned our Pinna Colladas as they were awful, so was the coffee milkshake which was nothing but warm froth. We received the worst looking pizzas ever, although the pasta was mediocre and the calamari and steak dishes were good. It was a very disappointing dining experience and what's sad, is that it hasn't been the first. Never once did the manager come to apologize for the poor drinks which were sent back, or anything else AND neither has Cappuccinos responded to my review posted on Instagram. Seems they simply.don't care. Perhaps its time I find a new favorite restaurant which appreciates my loyal patronage!

Went to Cappuccinos Wonderboom with the family. What a disappointing experience. The already exuberant prices on the menu does not include VAT. The service was mediocre at best, as was the food. The waiter did not mention that they already include a 12% tip on the bill, and they have the audacity to have another space on the bill for an additional tip. Don't think I will ever spend my money at any Cappuccinos ever again.
