This a shambolic operation and does appear a ****. Placed an order almost a month ago - in this period - unable to view any tracking information. The website is also down now. I have instituted a bank investigation now due to this having all the red flags of a *****ulent enterprise.

So disillusioned, bought the Curlsair hair styling range in good faith. It's been 3 weeks and nothing. You can't track you order. Just another ****!!!

Don't get caught by the **** adverts. This product is pure Chinatown-like junk. They advertise themselves as Curlsair South Africa. Don't be fooled. Only once you have paid and get the tracking number, do you discover it's shipping from China. And it doesn't get delivered to your home address because it isn't being shipped from within SA. You have to collect it from the postboffice and pay a Customs Duty. Mine was an extra R465. The product itself (the 5 in 1 styler that theybadvertise as being so much better than thr Dyson) is just flimsy plastic junk. It is so weak that younwill never be able to dry your hair with it and the air wrap attachment is a joke. It doesn't air wrap your hair- it's just a meaningless little plastic attachment that does absolutely nothing. When contacting them on the givem email address for returns, there is no reply. They go dead silent on you. And you can't log a review on their site, so those lovely reviews are obviously ****. It's a ****. Don't fall for it.

I found this ad on Facebook and I paid for my order and am still waiting for the product 3 weeks later! Mail system delivery error on their email address. No response despite numerous attempts to contact them.

This business is a ****. It took over a month to get to me, the shipping is NOT free and the product is cheap *******. I asked for the order to be cancelled and they ignored me until it was too late. Their website clearly states that you can return it for a refund if it is unused and in its original packaging, BUT they won't let you return it unless you try it and it doesn't work. They told me I hadn't purchased a warranty and thus couldn't return it anyway however, this option was not visible anywhere in the sales process. They did say it was in the terms and conditions but LOL the Ts & Cs are written in Italian, despite the rest of the website being in English and the marketing targeted to South Africans. Not only could I not get my money back for the product, I had to pay hundreds more in customs duties because they said I wouldn't be able to return it for a refund if it was sent back for unpaid customs fees. That is not 'free shipping' and any South African would think twice about buying something that had to be shipped through our postal service anyway, which they conveniently omitted. Their response to me was basically, "Sorry not sorry, not our problem". Oh, and one of their email addresses bounces back: support@curlsair.com so don't bother trying that one. The one that works is a Gmail address, which would have immediately been a red flag and prevented me from purchasing from them had I known.

I ordered mine at 17 August 2024 and after supposed to be 3-5 day delivery, I only received an SMS from my local post office that my package is ready for collection. A R 465.56 custom duties fee now needs to be paid and this package is not even delivered to my door as advertised. I have send emails requesting a refund and the first response was that my order has arrived in SA and will be dispatched shortly. This was on 2 September. I sent another email on the 4th of September and did not get a response. Yesterday 5 September another email was sent that was also ignored. THIS IS TERRIBLE SERVICE. If the service is like this I can't think that the product can be as good as the reviews are saying it is. I am not sure if the reviews are legit.
