I went to visit Cycle Lab Bike Park on Saturday with an appointment. On arrival I was greeted and told about the membership so I asked to first go for a ride with my two boys to decide if I want to sign up for the membership. the I paid for my bike hire R400 and straight after that was made to feel I have to join membership to go in so I agreed on a individual membership as my boys was getting upset waiting to go in with their bikes as kids would. then I was told to pay R200 for my bike hire and that they will pay back my R400 as I get a 50% discount for getting the membership and that I don’t have to worry as I can cancel my membership within 30 days and I won’t be charged any fees or membership costs. after the ride I have decided to rather cancel my membership as I did not feel comfortable off everything that just happened and that I won’t use the membership as our experience the day at the park was not what I was looking for. I have since send many cancelations just to get some confirmation that the membership is cancelled but have not yet received any confirmation and the R400 refund is still not reflecting into my bank account.
I have also asked in a app cancellation message to please send me any confirmation that the membership is cancelled so i do not have to write something on Hello Peter but still no response.
