My favorite store! Old school customer service with an awesome customer experience. Always going the extra mile and they have a way to make you feel part of the family! The team is clued up and passionate about the cycling lifestyle! Just a special mention to Gift! He is such an awesome guy and I trust his input about bikes and everything related. Keep it up!

I haven't received service like this in years from any company. Order a list of parts from their website only to find the parts don't fit on my bike. Parts were send from 3 stores across SA. Their reply to my email was to visit Cyclab Cornubia. Cobus Pretorius help me. Patiently went through options for a hour, searching the entire country to find spares and in the end helped me select the best option for me. Then had to create credit notes for everything before I could walk out with the correct spares. Very happy with the end result.

This review is applicable to the Cycle Lab - Lynnwood Megastore This is some of the worst service from the workshop/ Manager that I have ever seen. A 1 star rating will be to high. I handed in my bicycle on Wednesday the 8th of October 2025 to the workshop requesting an inspection and report after an insident that cause some minor damages on my bicycle for insurance purposes. The work shop reported that they are busy but will provide the required infomation by Friday 10th October 2025. No correspondance was recieved what so ever. on Monday 13 Oct 2025 I Phoned to ask what is the curent status of this report where I was told by the manager that the workshop is under staffed, hence no progress. The Manager (Gunter) promised me that the report will be provided to me asap, but latest Wednesday 15 Oct 2025. I requested for updates. On the 14th Gerhard from Cycle lab phoned explaining that they still have not started with any of this work. but also explained that it will be done the following day. No feedback was received on the 15th Oct. Today I had to phone at 9am to find out that no work what soever has been done on my request. I again spoke to the manager (Gunter) where he said they will do it today after several promises I explained my frustration with ride joburg 10days out and the proses that still need to be followed for insurance purposes and the bicycle needed to be fixed aswell before 26th October I am in shock to imagine a Cyclelab Megastore has this poor service. Firstly lying about workshop capacity, making empty promises by the manager, and an overall no care attitude. I would highly suggest that anybody would rather use another workshop to prevent a delayed response or outcome for what ever request.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the poor service I have experienced with Cycle Lab Fourways Megastore. Firstly, I signed up for the Tour de France challenge earlier this year, which required payment and completion of a set distance within a specific timeframe to qualify for a Tour de France performance shirt. I entered on 29 January 2025, and to date, I am still waiting for the shirt to be delivered. Despite numerous emails and eventual communication, the courier was unable to deliver the parcel, claiming they could not locate my address. I updated my details and followed up again, yet I am still waiting for any resolution. This is not about the amount paid, it’s about the principle and lack of accountability. I’ve since heard from several others who have had similar experiences, which is deeply concerning. Secondly, my bike was due for a service. I booked a time slot on their online portal and received no feedback. I tried again and rebooked, but still no contact or confirmation from them. I have always supported Cycle Lab and expected better communication and service from such a reputable brand. I hope this matter can be resolved urgently and that the level of service improves going forward.

I went to visit Cycle Lab Bike Park on Saturday with an appointment. On arrival I was greeted and told about the membership so I asked to first go for a ride with my two boys to decide if I want to sign up for the membership. the I paid for my bike hire R400 and straight after that was made to feel I have to join membership to go in so I agreed on a individual membership as my boys was getting upset waiting to go in with their bikes as kids would. then I was told to pay R200 for my bike hire and that they will pay back my R400 as I get a 50% discount for getting the membership and that I don’t have to worry as I can cancel my membership within 30 days and I won’t be charged any fees or membership costs. after the ride I have decided to rather cancel my membership as I did not feel comfortable off everything that just happened and that I won’t use the membership as our experience the day at the park was not what I was looking for. I have since send many cancelations just to get some confirmation that the membership is cancelled but have not yet received any confirmation and the R400 refund is still not reflecting into my bank account. I have also asked in a app cancellation message to please send me any confirmation that the membership is cancelled so i do not have to write something on Hello Peter but still no response.

I was given a cellphone mount to the value of R250 fpr my birthday, unfortunately it did not fit my cellphone. I went to Cycke Lab N1 city with the receipt to exchange the product for something else. There was nothing with in the allocated budget that met my needs so I asked to rather get the money back. They refused despite the fact that I had the physical proof of purchase. They demand a bank statement from the bank that shows where the money was spent at their shop. My time and effort to get what they want is worth more than the actual money I am.asking for a refund for. I have been researching and and discussing finance options for a R34000 Gravel bike, their attitude and actions regarding the R250 has cost them the potential R34000 sale. They are not the only cycle shop around

I have had poor service from Cycle Lab N1 city since my first purchae. The latest being me asking someone to take my bicycle for a booked service Thursday 17 April. I called twice, spoke with ALex to advise i will pick up by bicycle myself as soon as i get the confirmation that the service has been completed. I CALLED TWICE TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY UNDERSTAND I WILL PICK UP MY OWN BICYCLE. Alex assured me that only my details is on the system and they will only hand over my bicycle to me. Alex actually got very upset and unprofessional for me for calling twice to make sure that they dont hand-over MY bicycle to someone els. Saturday morning, 19 April i called to find out whether my bicycle is ready for collection by myself as arranged and (if memory serves me right) Wayne answered and said he'll call me back because he dont see my bicycle and usually the guys do not update the job cards. An hour later and no call back. I then called myself and he said my bicycle has been booked out and Alex will give me a call. Alex then called me and told me my bicycle has been collected by the guy who dropped it, who is not the owner and they dont have his details. Meaning he ignored my request that i will collect MY OWN BIC. He got VERY RUDE WITH ME INSISTING THAT THIS GUY IS MY PARTNER AND HE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY PERSONAL ISSUES!!! SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! He promised to send me confirmation about service happening on 5 May and they will call me immediately and up until now he has not sent me any confirmation!!!!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND DONT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKE!!!!!
