Melted, Crystallized, and Ignored by Customer Service
We bought a 5 L Dair**** Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Cream for our Christmas dinner, but what we received looked more like 2 L—partially melted, crystallized, and unevenly frozen (see photos). We went straight home from the shop, so it couldn’t have melted during transport. We reported this to Dair**** in early January, sent all requested photos and details, and were promised feedback within 2 weeks. Months later, after numerous follow-ups, we’ve heard nothing. This is extremely disappointing. Not only was the product far below expectations, but the lack of response from the company makes it feel like they don’t care about their customers.

Country fresh ice cream half full.
Received a tub half full of country fresh ice cream. I initially wrote a review already but tagged the wrong company by mistake. Ice cream was slightly melted but that was not the issue because even when slightly melted it does not "deflate". Purchased at spar Diepkloof square.

Poor Quality

Poor Quality
I got a tub of ice cream earlier and opening it I realised that one side of the tub is stuck on the lid and as such, broken. Scared to even consume the ice cream as I dont know what may be the cause and or ended up inside.

DAIRT**** UN-CARING DISINTERESTED Customer Responses 1 Month & counting
Called to raise valid complaint,(10/06/2025) re: 2 X 2litre Ice-creams, 1 the packaging was damaged, the other product was sub-standard and inedible. Representative listened, requested I share info, so then shared numerous pictures, bar codes, expiry dates, details- to their Whatsapp number, which I did same day. I was informed this would take 2 weeks to review and get back to me. I followed up on 22/10/2025 automated reply via IA, in response. Followed up again 8/11/2025. Additionally tried calling their toll-free number, no reply. Sent emails again- same NO RESPONSES to date. SHOCKINGLY bad, unacceptable way to treat customers! Woefully dismal customer service and illustrates the way large companies, ie DAIR****, are hiding behind anonymous AI and whats app and couldn't be bothered to actually call or take complaints seriously at all. DAIRY****- you silence and ignoring complaints is NOT rectifying or taking the complaint seriously in any way, manner or form. No matter how much we enjoy these products, my family and friends are CEASING to buy Dairy****'s ice-creams from here onward.

Farmhouse competition voucher
My neighbour won Farmhouse competition and she was issued a voucher on the 9 July,the voucher declined on the 12 and we notified Farmhouse and they said they will investigate. We then find out that the voucher was redeemed on the 4 July jist before it was issued to my neighbour. Its been a month now since they are ignoring her texts.

PURCHASED DAIRY**** COUNTRY FRESH 1.8L CHOCA CARA NILLA AND NEAPOLITAN FLAVORS IT WAS FLAVORLESS BITTER CHOCOLATE & STRAWBERRY, TUBS WASNT FULL. DID LODGE A COMPLAINT ON FACEBOOK. WAS CONTACTED , QUESTIONED GIVEN A REFERENCE DM25-07-16. INDIAN LADY DID CALL LAST WEEK (MISSED CALL DUE TO BEING BUSY) LEFT A VOICE MESSAGE (SO UNPROFESSIONAL) EXPECTING ME TO CALL BACK, WHY MUST I CALL? ITS DAIRY**** JOB TO PHONE BACK AND ATTEND TO THEIR FAULTY PRODUCTS. DAIRY**** PRODUCTS ARE NOT RIGHT & OVERPRICED. I WANT A VOUCHER! 🙄

Poor complaint handling process and follow up
I lodged a complaint with dairy**** about a piece of wood I found in my jive ice-cream sometimes beginning of April, on the 8th of April I sent through pictures the show the piece was not coming from the ice cream stick but a foreign object. I followed up with them on email and on their Facebook page to no avail This is highly unacceptable as this could have gone bad had i not noticed the object on time, if they don't fix their controls it can turn very ugly, never buying their ice creams again
