Good day, I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional customer service I have received from Dals, especially from Henni and the lady at reception (unfortunately I did not get her name). Working in the insurance industry myself, I understand how important communication and reassurance are to a customer or client. Henni has truly embodied both. His consistent follow-ups, clear communication, and genuine reassurance have meant more than I can express. We last drove our car on 8 December 2025, and since then, it has been a long and stressful back-and-forth process with the insurance. It has honestly been a nightmare at times. However, dealing with Henni has been the highlight of this experience. Knowing that we are finally making progress, and having someone who keeps us informed and reassured, has made all the difference. The world truly needs more people like Henni. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to him and to the receptionist as well. 😊

DALS Motor Group Montague Gardens delivers true professionalism from start to finish. I received continuous updates throughout the process, always keeping me in the loop with the steps and progress. The job was completed ahead of the estimated date, which was an amazing bonus. The quality of the work is outstanding – the colour blending was flawless, and the finish exceeded expectations. When I collected the car, it looked as though it had just come out of a valet – practically brand new. Exceptional workmanship, excellent communication, and reliable service. Highly recommended!

I brought my vehicle to Dals Mercedes for an oil leak, and after their assessment, I was given an estimate of R25,997.92 to repair the oil link at the sump. Given the high cost, I sought second opinions. To my alarm, two other reputable repair centers both concluded that the oil leak was definitively from the oil filter housing, not the sump. More concerning, both independent centers immediately identified that both my vehicle's drop links were broken and required replacement. This critical safety issue was completely overlooked by Dals Mercedes during their inspection. The accurate repair, including the oil filter housing and the neglected drop links, was quoted at R7,325-50. Dals Mercedes' failure to accurately diagnose the oil leak and their complete oversight of a significant safety component is unacceptable and raises serious questions about their service standards.

Customer service is very bad, they didn't tell me in advance that excess payment had to be immediate they only wanted proof. I sent someone to collect the vehicle. I paid x 2 excess amount still didn't reflect...card payment made. They took the whole week to refund me...only when I asked about it

Like another reviewer said "Stevie Wonder could have done a better job in QA" I am shocked that Discovery Insure would still send any business to Netassess and DALS. The amount of BS I had to endure from DALS since the 23rd of April is appalling. "We will remove the blue paint we smudged on your car and key fob, free of charge" We worked near your brake light but it is not our fault that the light failed as you drove it out of the workshop. "The light is an aftermarket part and is probably not syncing with the OBC" Or how about this one, We fixed your left sideview mirror, which worked perfectly well before accident, but it is not our fault it was super glued together and popped out when you drove it a few days after collecting your car. Like your score suggests you are a hit and miss repair shop at best. To whom ever reds this review you have 50% chance of going through the same lies I went through

My name is Don Jayakody - 0718882622 I took my Brand New Suzuki Swift which bought in Aug 2024 , i had a small accident on the 17th Oct 2024 where a bakkie drove into the right fender causing minor damage to the right fender and breaking the headlight. I could still drive the car - perfect condition only body damage - everything else was perfect. I was even driving the car after the accident until the Dals Motor Group in Montegue Garden gave me an date on the 02 Dec 2024 to bring the car for panel beating and repairs for the very minor damage to the front top right fender above the wheel and a damaged headlight. I got the car back on the 11th Dec 2024 - then 4days later the headlight that was replaced did not work - i took the car back on the 17th Dec 2024 and they fixed the problem . Now today 18th Dec 2024 , i get funny sounds coming out of the car when i now apply the bakes . These sounds never came even after the accident - i had been driving the car for over a month after the accident - it was in perfect condition. Ever since i had taken the Brand New Car ( bought in Aug 2024) to repairs at Dals Motor Group on the 02 Dec 2024. I have had a problem It seem that they have removed my brand new parts out of my car and replaced with old one - i am going to complain with the Automobil Association of SA and the ombudsman regarding this matter My car is brand new - only 4 month old and now they have messed i t up I am waiting on them to resolve my issue - they telling me that they are closing the shop for the holidays on Friday 20th Dec 2024.
